How would Sabo and Luffy react to their s/o saving them from drowning.
☰ Sabo
■ His reaction can depend on how he ended up in water in the first place, because he will react differently to being saved if it was a battle/fight situation and he abruptly got knocked into the water or if it’s during peaceful times and he accidentally gets knocked into water or falls into water due to a friend or his own clumsiness.
■ He can be more embarrassed if you have to jump in to save him if he fell into water because of his own clumsiness, but he won’t make a big deal of it. Apologizing and kind of joking about it or laughing about it to make light of what happened, but he really will be sorry about you having to jump in especially if it inconvenienced you in some way.
■ If it’s during a more serious or fight situation he doesn’t react too much initially just to get back to the situation/fight but will still thank you but will bring it up later to thank you again in a more sincere way, he really will try to be polite about it.
■ He will be more apologetic if you get mad at him for falling or getting knocked into water, which usually he is pretty careful so saving him is more rare but because it doesn’t happen too often it can make you worry more or panic when it does. Isn’t so much sorry for it happening but sorry for worrying you.
☰ Luffy
■ His reaction is nearly always the same whether he gets knocked into water, falls into water or willingly jumps into water and whether it’s during peaceful times or during a battle or fight. None of these things typically affect how he responds to you saving him and chances are you will be saving him multiple times
■ Never really takes falling in water and needing saving too seriously and can come out of the water laughing about it, he is thankful to you though it’s not that he expects you to save him every time it’s just that he really can be that clumsy at times or can endanger himself to help others, such as when he jumps in water to save someone else with a devil fruit ability
■ He really is genuinely thankful about it and will thank you and sometimes apologize too especially if you seem upset or mad at him for falling in water. It’s just not really in his personality to be serious about it so even if you do get mad at him it’s not really going to change how he reacts in the future.
■ Typically, doesn’t thank you or react much to being saved during a fight/battle because he can see stopping the fight or defeating someone as more important and important for him to get back to dealing with. But he will thank you later on particularly if you remind him of it because chances are, he will forget about it if a lot is going on.
