so this finally went up, rendering the no-bgm one now
hey so, as someone who is hugely into pokemon and especially the competitive scene, and also hates genwunners, i think you should give let's go a look in another light. yes i know it's Kanto Again(tm) and that sucks but it's a really nice game by itself and as someone who loves the Pokemon universe as much as the gameplay it was a real treat. i would also much rather Pokemon get off the 3DS as fast as fucking possible
Oh yeah no I have nothing against Let’s Go! I’m all for bringing in new fans, I personally really like the aesthetic style they went for and experimenting is good. As soon as I learned it wasn’t replacing the main series (As I just got into competitive and would hate for everything I learned to just...be gone) I had no issue with Let’s Go.
I was just lamenting the very limited time we got with Alolan pokemon. Every generation gets its share of little spin offs to remember the new pokemon by...I wish that at least that block game they released last e3 (?) was in Alola. Or just something, really! A mystery dungeon...something like Conquest...Ranger...an entirely new spin off...Props to Detective Pikachu for featuring pokemon from many regions...but just a few of the new ones as a result of being so evenly spread.
I personally won’t be playing Let’ Go though. I don’t have a switch, money is tight, and I barely have time to play video games in general :’(
