Exo's Clothing Preferences for their Girlfriend

Xiumin would like his girlfriend to be comfy and casual, with a slight edgy streak, since he doesn’t want anyone high maintenance who wouldn’t be able to have fun with him.

  Luhan would adore a girl who dressed elegantly and sweetly, yet also knew how to let her hair down and be either casual or sexy.

Kris would like a woman who looks professional and polished, yet flaunts her own personality through what she wears.

Suho would have similar tastes to Luhan, since he’d be drawn to a girl who dresses like a dainty princess.

Lay’s another lover of the elegant ladies, but would like his girlfriend to still look down-to-earth.

Baekhyun would love a casual girly girl with a cute and flirty style

  Chen would be drawn to a girl who effortlessly classy, with a bit of a unique and sexy streak

How would you rank EXO's skin ? It looks like Kai easily breaks out and that Kyungsoo has skin like a baby's bottom.

I really like seeing their barefaced photos actually! From that, this’d be my list

1) Sehun 

You’d think he’d break out a lot because he’s young, but he seems to have really youthful, babyish skin that looks flawless even without makeup 

2) Kyungsoo

You’re right about Soo: his skin absolutely glows! He looks very fresh-faced and spotless without makeup/minimal makeup

3) Baekhyun

Baekhyun’s skin looks so smooth and youthful, enhancing his natural cuteness

4) Xiumin

Minseok’s known for his overall cute, fresh appearance, and I think his skin definitely reflects this as well. He looks bright and spotless!

5) Suho

Suho continues to glow like a prince without makeup, and fanaccounts often say that he looks the best without makeup! 

From here on, I think they’re all around the same level

6) Luhan

Luhan’s also blessed with great genes, but he’s just got a few more blemishes than the guys above. 

7) Kris

Kris also looks really great without makeup, and thanks to his age, he doesn’t have to deal with acne or anything like the younger members

8) Lay

Tiredness shows up on Yixing’s face really easily, with a few spots here and there too.

9) Tao

Tao’s dark circles show up on his skin, but we’ve seen how great he looks on Laws of the Jungle without makeup! 

10) Chen

Chen has a few blemishes too, and his skin seems to be prone to greasiness, but on the plus side, he looks really mature and masculine without makeup! 

11) Chanyeol

Chanyeol hasn’t quite outgrown his teen years, with a few pimples seen here and there. But, without makeup, he looks insanely adorable, so it’s all good

12) Kai

You’re right about Kai’s breakouts too! He seems quite susceptible to being struck down with pimples, and often looks sleepy, but still super adorable.

Could I get a scenario for Luhan/Sehun/Suho where you two are best friends who won't admit that you like each other, but then one day you give him a quick peck on the lips completely out of impulse and try to run away all embarassed.

Whee haven’t done a scenario in ages!

Luhan

Luhan would try desperately to not appear surprised and play it off, but he’d just be so overjoyed by your sudden action that he wouldn’t be able to suppress his giggles. He’d capture you in a back hug when you try to run away, turning you around to face him. When you see how happy he is, you’d know that he feels the same way too. He’d grin and tell you that it’s okay, sealing the deal with a slightly more passionate kiss on the lips. He’d be slightly miffed that he didn’t make the first move, so he’d make sure to be a really affectionate boyfriend from here on.

Sehun

Sehun would stand there for a few seconds, trying to process what just happened. He’d call out your name to stop you, and when he sees the worried and embarrassed look on your face, he’d probably burst out laughing. This would leave you quite confused for a while, since you wouldn’t be sure exactly what he’s laughing at. He’d eventually compose himself to tell you sweetly that you don’t have anything to worry about, before softly kissing your cheek. When he sees a hopefully positive reaction from you, he’d cheekily point at where you’d kissed him, asking for another kiss.

Suho

A deep red blush would colour Suho’s cheeks the second you kiss him. He’d also take a second to grasp what you’d done, before softly grabbing your hand to stop you. He’d be kind of shy about what happened, but really gentlemanly too. Suho would hold both your hands in his, telling you that he’s really glad you made your feelings clear since he wasn’t sure if he should confess to you. He might be tempted to launch into an emotional speech about how much he likes you, but would probably try to appear cool, calm and collected by going in for another sweet kiss.

Long scenario for exo liking someone with dark skin: Kai meets a fan while he is in London after getting to know her he really likes her but is apprehensive cause she is Black and is worried about the culture clash. how do u think Jongin and exo would act to liking a dark skinned foreigner but with Kai , Luhan and sehun. p.s curious cause of the whole white skin complex and ideal types. have fun with this request and be brutally honest

Wow I’m kind of nervous about writing this one, as it’s quite a complex and divisive issue. I hope I don’t offend anyone, and this is all just pure speculation! 

Kai

Out of all of them, I think Jongin would be the most dismissive of society’s ridiculous beauty standards, and would date this girl no matter what. As we know, Korea isn’t the most racially diverse country and unfortunately has a very narrow view of what beauty looks like, compared to most Western nations. He’d definitely be nervous about the odd looks and possibly rude comments that you would get, but he’d be more worried about your wellbeing rather than the impact on himself. He’s heard plenty of crap about his own skin colour, but I think he largely accepts himself except for what he said in that last episode of Showtime. I distinctly remember on ShimShimTapa (I think), Jongin specifically said that skin colour doesn’t matter at all when it comes to his dream girl. He would passionately defend you if you were ever made to feel bad about your skin colour, and would make sure that you feel beautiful at all times. Since he’s been in the same position before and has clearly stated his beliefs regarding this topic before, he would make this relationship work no matter what outsiders are telling him.

Luhan & Sehun

Oookay, so here’s where it gets tricky… As we all know, Luhan recently got himself into a bit of strife for talking about his preference for pale skin. And when discussing his ideal type, Sehun has specifically mentioned pale skin too. There is no excuse for racism, no excuse for discriminating on the basis of skin colour. But, I do believe that cultural attitudes will shape a lot of people’s preferences when it comes to physical appearance. The majority of developing countries that I am familiar with have the same attitude towards fairer skin tones. The idea is that the fairer you are, the richer you must be, as you clearly aren’t someone who has to do physical labour outdoors. These values are heavily entrenched into certain cultures. I find the same thing with my culture, being of Pakistani origins. Fair skin is seen as the epitome of beauty, and you will hardly ever see celebrities who are darker. People will sometimes compliment me for being on the lighter end of the skin tone scale for South Asians, or gently remind me to be careful if they've noticed I've gotten darker. Although this doesn't sit well with me due to my Westernised experience, I understand where they're coming from and that I have to be sensitive to that. Skin tone is just another variable in the widespread perception of beauty, in the same way that having a very tiny waistline is here in the West. Korea is not very tolerant towards interracial relationships in general, so if you add to that the huge difference in skin tone, there could be some social problems that the boys would have to face. I don’t think it’s ever appropriate for idols to suggest that pale skin is inherently better than darker skin, as they know that they have an international fanbase and should really be sensitive to that. But people are allowed to have their own preferences, as long as they don’t treat others badly based on these preferences. So, what I’m trying to say is that if Luhan and Sehun found themselves drawn to a dark-skinned girl, I can actually see them being a little bit conflicted about it. Luhan and Sehun basically embody the East-Asian beauty ideal, so they would feel like they should be with a girl who meets the same beauty criteria to avoid complications. I don’t think that they would reject a girl purely based on skin tone (although they would be leaning more towards pale skin in general), but it’s dealing with the social consequences that they would find difficult. Luhan would be worried about what other people would think of him. If you received negative comments about your appearance, Luhan would simply reply back to the person curtly and try to get your mind off it. Sehun would be more emotionally hurt if anyone was rude to you or looked down on your relationship. He would get fired up and visibly upset, dragging you away from the situation and not wanting to talk about it. They would both have to adjust to the social expectations and opinions and would struggle, I believe. Ultimately, they would want to prove to other people that they should really open up their minds to different types of beauty! <3

Big disclaimer: I don’t even know if I made much sense, but I am not making excuses for racism at all, nor do I want to portray Luhan or Sehun, or Korean society as a whole, negatively. I think I went off on a tangent and didn’t quite answer your question properly. This was just a huge purge of all the things I have been thinking about this whole skin tone and ideal types issue.

Baekhyun

Baek wouldn’t be able to get that square-shaped smile off his face the whole ceremony. He’d tell you how adorable you were in your graduation uniform, and cheer embarrassingly loud for you when you go up on stage to receive your certificate. Right after the ceremony, he’d be there with a box of chocolates to congratulate you and playfully ruffle your hair. Baek would be making a lot of jokes and behaving very cutely towards you, but inside, his heart would be blooming with pride for his clever girlfriend! 

Luhan

You’d feel reassured as you see Luhan’s sweetly smiling face in the crowd, helping to calm your nerves about getting up in front of the whole school. He’d try to be cool and not embarrass you by being overly enthusiastic about your graduation, but he wouldn’t be able to help himself. He’d end up telling anyone around him about his super smart girlfriend and how proud he is to see her graduate today. He’d have a bouquet of flowers for you and would sweetly kiss you on the forehead when you approach him after the ceremony. Right after the ceremony, he’d drag you to your favourite cafe and have a simple yet lovely celebration with you, 

Suho

Suho would be there at your graduation ceremony super early, not wanting to miss a second of it. I know that I always write about Suho as if he’s always super emotional, but I seriously think he’d be very emotional in this situation too! Having done really well at school himself, Suho would place a great deal of value on academics. Therefore, he’d be so proud of you on your graduation day. He also seems like someone who is very attracted to intelligence (he said he loves girls who read a lot!), so seeing you up there on stage, receiving your certificate in your graduation uniform would just make his heart swell with love for you. He’d tear up a little bit as well, seeing as this was such a big milestone for you, looking just like the sappy, emotional parents in the crowd. When you see him afterwards, he’d give you a chaste kiss on the cheek and take you to a fancy restaurant that night, insisting that he needs to spoil his clever princess.

Or it can be about them cheering you up or about seeing each other after a long time... I have too many ideas. just write what you want :) your imagines are amazing!

Xiumin

I feel like Minseok can sometimes be a bit hard on himself about his on-stage performances, so there are times that you might need to be by his side to help with this issue. He might come home after a performance, feeling terrible about how he did on stage. You’d know something was wrong when he doesn’t even say hello to you as he plops down on the couch, sighing deeply. No words would need to be exchanged: within a second you would be next to him, gently tilting his head so it could rest on your shoulder. You would hear him sigh with relief and gratitude as you run your fingers through his hair, helping him de-stress. Eventually he’d change his position so he’d be lying on your lap, as you trace his facial features with your fingers and he tells you all about his worries and insecurities. He’d look up at you with absolute adoration, feeling so much better that he has you to support and love him no matter what. Help snuggly Xiumin feels

Kris

Kris is the kind of guy that everyone relies on to be their rock and protector. Of course, he can’t always be strong for everyone else, so there are times when this burden would begin to weigh down on him. When he ends up crumbling on one of these days, he would try to sneak past you unnoticed, not wanting you to worry about him. Of course, you’d be by his side instantly, wrapping a reassuring arm around his waist as he rests his head in his hands. He’d love it if you snuggled up against his shoulder, and just held him until he wanted to talk about his issue. Eventually he’d want you to rest against his chest as he gently leans his head on top of yours, enveloping you in his arms. He would talk quietly with you for hours, just general chatting about life. Kris would feel like a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders just by having you there, as he’d flash his gummy smile at you, his everything. 

Luhan

Luhan is another highly emotional guy, and despite being cheery most of the time, he can have his bad days too. I can see Luhan getting stressed whilst practicing his lines or his moves. He’s always in the limelight, for being one of the lead vocalists, lead visuals and main dancers. Therefore, he feels like his mistakes would be scrutinised even more, and he would need to be absolutely perfect in everything he does because all eyes would be on him. You would overhear him muttering to himself, chastising himself for not being good enough. In a quiet tone, you’d ask him to take a break and join you on the couch. Luhan is very affectionate, so he wouldn’t be able to resist your offer in this time of need. He’d lie down in your lap straight away, putting aside his usual worries about being manly, as you hold his hands which he has anxiously clasped over his chest. The words would tumble out of LuLu’s mouth before he even knows what’s happening, as he tells you everything that’s on his mind. You’d gently be massaging him this whole time, and when he finishes his story, his doe-eyes would gleam at you in gratefulness and love.
