Narcos has the most chaotic casting options ever.

Pablo Escobar is brazilian, but both his parents are played by chilean actors 🤭🤭🤭. I think Alfredo Castro (Escobar's dad) struggled a lot with the accent, but he could play me in my biopic and I would believe him.

President Gaviria is mexican.

Colonel Carrillo is cuban.

Javier Peña is a chilean gringo who struggles a little with spanish, but I guess it's ok. The original Javier Peña was born in Texas, so I guess his introduction to spanish was similar to Pedro's.

One of the few genuinely chilean characters in the show, Pallomari, is played by a spaniard.

I wonder if anyone will ever know that Luis Gnecco, the chilean actor who plays Cockroach in the first episode is known in Chile for talking like a CUICO (rich person). I doubt the original Cockroach talked like that 🤭.
