Designed by parametric tools, the "Ring of Peace" is a 7.5 meters high infinite wooden möbius installation in the #Luitpoldpark #Germany . The installation was designed and built for the 10th World Conference of "Religions for Peace" in #Lindau . The project was done in a collaboration with Gisbert Barmann, Hermann Blumer, and @holzbau_amann . Nicht immer sind die Ausblicke von den Taxiständen verlockend. Am Petuel-Stand sieht man zwar auch das nord-östliche Ende des Luitpold-Parks, im Blick hat man allerdings auch zwei Bausünden aus späterer Zeit. Die könnten auch in einer postkommunistischen Metropole, wie Belgrad oder Sarajevo stehen. Macht nichts, denn einen guten Kaffee kann nichts entstellen!

The view from Luitpold Hügel is spectacular 😊🥨🍻📸💯🇩🇪 Greetings and have a fantastic evening all. ~~~~ The creation of the park goes back to a birthday present to the Bavarian Prince Regent Luitpold. In 1911 he turned 90 and 90 linden trees were planted in his honor. The 33-hectare public park was laid out around this grove. After the Second World War, a 37-meter-high pile of rubble from the bombed-out remains of the city was piled up in the northern part of the park.
