"What if Don Paolo kidnapped Luke instead of Flora?"
"Hm,I wonder where Luke is.", said the professor. "It's not him that wanders off."
"Flora,Professor!"
Flora and Hershel turned around to see Luke smiling,waving and running towards them.
"Luke,there you are!", Flora said. "We looked everywhere for you and I thought we were going to miss the train."
"It's not you to do that.", said Hershel.
"Sorry,professor.I was looking around and I didn't know that I lost you guys.", said Luke.
"Well,a gentleman can make mistakes.", said Hershel. "We need to hurry.We'll be late for the train to Folsense."
With Luke being found, everything was now good and cheerful once again.Except for Flora who had a feeling telling her this wasn't Luke at all.
"Professor-"
"Not the time right now,Flora", said Hershel. "We have to haste ourselves."
"But this is really urgent and I think we have to have this between the both of us-"
It was just then that Luke grabbed her by the shoulder reassurely.
"I think it's best to listen to him,Flora.", said Luke. "After all,we can't miss the train."
Flora sighed and decided to follow what the professor was saying.
During their arrival to Folsense,they decided to book a room in a nearby hotel.Flors has been telling the professor that Luke is not Luke at all, but he just told her that he was Luke and reassured her that everything was fine.Even Luke had to tell her.Then she got to the point where Luke was Don Paolo and impersonated him like how he impersonated Inspector Chelmey (according to Luke of course.).
And she was lucky that Inspector Chelmey and his stoge,Barton were here investigating as well.And decided she was going to tell them when Luke and Hershel weren't around.Maybe they'd help and save the day.
Flora walked to Inspector Chelmey. "Excuse me Inspector, do you have time to talk?"
"Yes I do.", said Chelmey. "What is it?"
"Well, Luke has been acting very strange lately and I'm worried it isn't him.", Flora explained.
"Don't worry about it.",Chelmey responded. "Sometimes, people get strange when they're exploring deeper into a mystery.That's what happened to me."
"But what if he's Don Paolo?", Flora asked.
"Don Paolo?! Don't be absurd!",he sputtered. "I wouldn't believe my eyes if he managed to impersonate a child!"
"But you are much taller than him.", said Flora. "And he managed to impersonate you."
"And Luke is smaller than him.",he responded. "And besides,he could have used studs to make him the real deal."
"And he could've used something...", Flora was trying to think of something "something that could make him smaller to make him the real deal."
"Oh, Flora! There you are!", called Hershel walking towards them. "Me and Luke are going out.It must be safer if you stay in the room and have some rest."
Flora started feeling anxious.What if she's right and never sees the professor again?
"What if I never see you again?", Flora asked.
"Don't be absurd, Flora it's not like I will die.", said Hershel.
"She just spoke to me that she didn't feel safe with your apprentice.", said Chelmey.
"Flora,we talked about this.", said Hershel.
"But professor-"
"Everything's fine,Flora.", said Hershel. "Maybe you just need rest.Luke will take you to-"
"I can go to the room myself.", Flora said quickly.
"Alright then.", said Hershel. "Don't make a mess in the room though."
