I haven't posted in FOREVER, have Layton with a Demon Core I modeled a few hours ago.

me? posting twice in the same day? absurd… anyway im going to be rambling i hope thats ok so I went on a bit of a rabbithole regarding that one anniversary event Level-5 had with one of their games (a gacha one I believe?), and I finally managed to find at least some footage of Descole Apparently he’s the rarest one advertised in the gacha area which lmao?? (and given he’s put up in the roster of other characters from other Level-5 series… that’s WILD. He casually has the second rarest rank in the game if im correct??)

Oh, and then I found some footage on how he works in-game, specifically his special attack. I never played the game or anything similar to it, but I still wanna share some screenshots. Firstly…– Oh hey, they modeled his sword!

Secondly, his attack starts with the red curtains you’d find at some sort of play (Possibly a reference to Eternal Diva?), which I think is absolutely hilarious they KNOW he’s a dramatic little theater kid But then at the end of his attack…

yes i know it’s vandalized with an atrocious amount of yellow BUT… man also his little victory animation is VERY much reminiscent of that one scene in Eternal Diva (im almost POSITIVE it’s a reference)

At first I was going to post this with no context, but I figured it would be funnier with context. I was readjusting my hip tracker and well as you can see in the video I was also laughing while doing so. Unfortunately you cannot hear my voice (that's a good thing) but you can hear my friends.

I can post a muted video next time if it's too loud or overwhelming.

Testing Unity Animations

So recently I got some new animations in Unity, and I thought I should test them with Descole, so here you go.

You're the second Layton3DModels possessors ^-^ ( so, after Dearest Hershell ), have you got a YouTube Channel ?

Actually I do not, I have been thinking about making a YouTube channel. Mainly posting the music of Professor Layton, and maybe even a walkthrough of how to export the ROMFS into something more readable/viewable. Which also includes getting the models, music, etc. I would absolutely love to make a YouTube channel, if and when I do I will link it in my profile on my Tumblr page for those of you curious. I will most likely name it the same as my Tumblr blog just to keep things simplistic.

At the time of recording this I unfortunately did not have a volume limiter downloaded/available. I have since downloaded one so hopefully volume boosted corruptions wont be as loud now.

Corruption Hell (3)

I do apologize for this Corruption Hell for being shorter than the others, the corruptor had to be stress tested against the games, and would normally crash or do nothing at all. I have found a good middle ground as of recent, and will be playing through a fair bit so expect more posts once I am finished doing an hour or two play through.

Update (3) CORRUPTIONS ARE BACK

With the discovery of new corruptors that don't require me to have my actual 2DS on hand, I can now corrupt games on my computer using a very complex corruptor.

I can now say with a smile on my face that yes, new corruptions are coming and they are better than ever with the new corruptor. Unlike before where I only post images, now I can RECORD in real time the corruptions themselves. SO EXPECT VIDEOS NOW TOO!

Update (2)

I finally have copies of everything onto my computer, I had to contact an old friend of mine to get copies from because currently, I am not in possession of my 2DS (which means no new corruptions unfortunately) to re-port/extract the files myself. I now have access to models, music, cutscenes, and everything else I used to have on my old laptop. I will start off by locating the music, porting it, then posting it to this tumblr account. I appreciate everyone for waiting patiently for this and all, life is very unexpected and likes to mess things up from time to time. I can assure you that music will be posted though (if tumblr doesn't throw a fit about it)

Update ( 1 )

I’ve recently upgraded to a new PC, meaning all files such as audio, models, animations, cutscenes, etc, have to be moved to my newer computer. Meaning it’ll take some time before I can post new content.

Same with software that converts audio into a normal (viewable/hearable) format, mp4, wav, etc. Model viewers that (you guessed it) helps me display models and attaches animations to said models. I will most likely be doing that either this week or next week, as soon I have free time.

I will also be ripping from Miracle Mask (I don’t have a set date for it) but just know that, that will be happening sometime. I thank those who’ve followed me and reposted content from my tumblr you’re very much appreciated, and you all motivate me to keep posting. Thank you all!

this blog is so cool! do you plan on doing anything with the other 3D layton games?

I plan on ripping other models, as well as game/music audio from Miracle Mask. Similar to what I did with Azran Legacy.

I'll probably end up ripping from the 2D Layton games as well. Cant wait to post my findings when I do.
