There was only one Pokémon left on Delibird's delivery list, but it appears there's something wrong! Will Delibird figure out how to cheer this poor Eiscue up on such a special day?
The clamoring of Pokémons' happy cries began to die down as they all scattered away with brand new gifts in tow. Delibird pulled out a crumpled list to take one last look at it...oh my! There was one Pokémon that remained on its list!
Delibird knew just where to look, because it was the delivery Pokémon afterall! Surely it was nearby... The last stop on Delibird's list was at the Frigid Sea in Galar! Thankfully, it was already there to deliver to the kind Pokémon of The Crown Tundra.
It waddled its way through the cold sand...eased by the grains between his webbed feet, Delibird felt at home here! Its basking in of the harsh, cold weather was put to a halt when it heard a faint whining in the distance. "Deli?"
*Crunch, crunch, crunch* repeated the snowy sand as Delibird hurried along the shoreline. "Delibird-bird!" It called out to another Pokémon who sat far away from the crowd.
"EIIIIISCUUUUEEEE!!!" The Pokémon wailed! Delibird's comforting was to no avail, this Pokémon was REALLY sad! But why? Whatever could be bringing this Eiscue down on such a lovely winter's day? Especially when all the other Pokémon were so happy...why wasn't this one?
Delibird began patting the lamenting ice-type's back, and it began to speak! "Eiscue eiscue...EISCUE!" Oh... Oh my goodness gracious! Everymon else got a gift except for it! Little did Eiscue know, Delibird had something special, just for it! Delibird began to rustle in its pouch for something truly amazing to give, but alas...nothing was there!
Can you believe it? The delivery Pokémon had nothing to deliver! Especially in such a dire time of need, too... Eiscue must be devastated by this bad news...
Delibird sheepishly looked onward to it, noticing upon its glossy ice cube-shaped head...it seemed to be pacified? How could this be, Delibird failed to finish its yearly mission of giving every Pokémon a spectacular present!!!
Eiscue didn't say a word, and instead lunged forward to give Delibird a hug. No other Pokémon had gone out of their way and made such an effort to cheer it up like Delibird had! This was the greatest present that Eiscue could have ever asked for...a friend!
They both sat back up, and began waddling away, flipper in flipper! Eiscue and Delibird spent the rest of the holiday spending it together, and were best friends ever since.
