Not-so-subtle shoutout to @mintywolf and her Final Fantasy X webcomic, @guardian-comic. It’s a beautiful canon-divergent story about Lulu and Yuna with lovely art, and I couldn’t recommend it more!

I discovered it during Kontext’s first chapter (the last time we were at this library!) At the time, I didn’t know if I’d keep going with my comic, but reading Guardian gave me the confidence to push on. Kontext might not be here now if it weren't for Guardian.

I had a dream last night about an AU where the Lulubeast was some kind of fox fae and could transform into a regular fox shape and ride around on Yuna’s shoulder, giving her advice and reassurance while also judging the heck out of everyone else and now I dearly want this to be a thing.

WELL it’s been like a hundred years (okay, three, but that’s a long time in art years) but now I can finally post the last drawing I did from that list of Surrealist OTP Prompts. I didn’t want to reveal Yuna’s Final Aeon ahead of time so I had to wait for Guardian to catch up. (Which, as of yesterday, it has.)

The prompt for this one was “your otp as a series of nested fever dreams.”
