so did sandrone and the rest of the cast forget that they had a literal draconian robot in the group to help compute and process all that information or
It's taken Hoyov so long, but Genshin is finally starting to feel more like an adult game. It was baffling to me that a game with jiggle physics and gambling was trying to pass itself off as family friendly (probably predatory reasons like getting kids addicted to spending money, but that's a different conversation). Yeah characters drink and some even get high, but it's played off as some cute little quirk. Even the really dark trauma in the Fontaine characters' backstories were more implied.
This new update has side characters who curse (a lot! noticeably!). There's a world quest that is straight up out of the horror genre. The archon quest showed us an absolutely gutting moment. I hope the game keeps going in this direction. I want more of this!!

Little au where everything is the same except Sonnet can still talk through the Moon Marrow so she sometimes talks to Arlecchino.
At first Arle thought she went crazy or that it was a Clervie situation 2.0 with another shadow but then Sonnet introduced herself and they started talking more and Sonnet found out about the curse and was super sad and felt super guilty about it but Arlecchino was like "You're ok, it's not like you could do anything about it" and now she has a Moon Goddess as Alexa.
