Day 5: Ripple (Obito Ver.)
So I made a post about a week ago talking about how streamers, particularly mcyt, don't value fanworks, and in it I linked a few clips from one streamer in particular with his thoughts that he shared on stream.
Now I didn't share his name in that original post, but I'm going to share it now.
Anathra, in a stream shortly following Pyro's boundaries announcement, was talking about his feelings surrounding the whole situation, as well as his thoughts on fanwork in general, especially where shipping is involved.
These thoughts included, but were not limited to:
Comparing fans to 'karens' and other people who mistreat food and retail workers, saying that "they treat people with contempt and as inhuman"
Saying that fans don't respect creators when they make fan works
Fans creating fanart and fanfic of characters they play is "weird and unhealthy behavior", regardless if it's posted publically or privately between a group of friends or in a private server.
"You have to try to make people understand that even if they're doing it in private it's weird and wrong"
Comparing fanart and fanfic to AI generated work
In response to a comment asking "Is it not a bit disingenuous to compare fan work to a climate killing water guzzling art stealing machine?" doubling down on his comparison and saying "It's not necessarily the climate side of things, its the same morality being used. If you take the climate thing into account, AI is worse. Using just the 'creative' side of AI, is what I'm talking about."
In regards to his fans "The most you can do is get most people to listen, there's always going to be weirdos out there we all know that."
Now why am I posting this now? It has come to my attention that the clips I got of these quotes from Anathra's VOD have been taken down, along with the original VOD as well. As such, I have no concrete evidence of these quotes, however below is the proof that the clip and VOD links once existed and no longer do.
Why did you remove these clips and VOD from your channel Anathra? Did you realize that these were awful things to be saying about your fans, people who support you and love your characters, SO MUCH SO that they dedicate time and effort to create wonderful works of art inspired by your stories and characters? I have to imagine you do realize, or else you wouldn't have taken these clips down at all.
Why are you trying to hide? If you were so brave as to say these things on stream, doubling down even, then own them. If you regret speaking your mind in a stressful situation, then take accountability for your harmful words. You don't get to just say these things and ignore the consequences. I'm sick and tired of creators thinking of fans and fan*work* as something they *deserve* and can control to their own liking. Fans create these things selflessly out of a love for your storytelling, only to be told that they're "weird" and "wrong" for it? That the hours they spend working on a beautiful piece of art or incredibly complex prose and fiction is equivalent to instantly generated ai slop? AI Slop that learned FROM FAN WORK? It's incredibly demoralizing for fans who are creating these things FOR FUN with no personal gain to be hearing that the creators they look up to see them so low.
Stop hiding. Your fans deserve better than a creator who will insult them behind their backs.
07/15/26 UPDATE:
Anathra addressed the deletion of the clips and original VOD in this stream saying they were deleted because they could be taken out of context.
He also posted this message in his discord in response to someone asking if he condones people finding content that breaks his boundaries and showing it to him for the purpose of banning the people making it:
Proof of deleted VOD and clips below:
(This was a link I shared of the original VOD, which still has the original thumbnail and title, which can no longer be found on Anathra's twitch, despite being streamed ~June 8)
(My original clip of the above VOD, which has no thumbnail, and has been deleted, as well as the link showing that the clip is no longer available)
(I've not clipped anything else from Anathra aside from these clips, as I'm not even a regular viewer)

Favorite "Moon" aspects in Synastry
The emotional connection (Moon) 4th House is just as important as the physical (Mars) 1st House connection. Feeling emotionally held and seen is the best feeling in the world. Vulnerability leads to greater connection and intimacy, and can add durability to a connection. 'At the end of the day people won't remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.' When it comes to the Moon in synastry these are the favorites.
Ascendant/Sun/Mars trine/conjunct Moon- This is a classic yin (feminine) and yang (masculine) aspect, great for long term compatibility as the Ascendant/Sun is the provider/protector and the Moon is the nurturer and is supportive of the Ascendant/Sun. Mars is very protective of the Moon person, not only emotionally but physically. This aspect is a green flag and favorable for long term compatibility.
Moon trine/conjunct Moon- You just get the other person emotionally. This aspect can make both individuals feel vulnerable and emotionally open. If either feels uncomfortable with vulnerability this aspect can be triggering and uncomfortable. When this happens the Moon may be negatively aspected in the natal chart. For example (Moon square Saturn or Chiron)
Mercury trine/conjunct Moon- Emotions are easily expressed by the Moon and easily understood by Mercury with this aspect. There is also emotional telepathy, where words do not have to be spoken. This is a excellent aspect for long term friends and romantic partners. I have rarely seen this aspect in synastry. There is a mind/heart coherence energetically here that is soothing and calming to both individuals nervous system.
Pluto trine/conjunct Moon- This aspect causes mutual obsession, the Moon persons emotions are triggered to be brought to the surface and healed through this connection. The magnetic physical attraction and feelings invoked can be cathartic and addictive. Intimacy can be intense and emotional. It can be hard to walk away or separate if the connection does not work out. This person will always be able to get under your skin or invoke emotion in you. Both individuals are never the same as a result of this connection.
Venus trine Moon- This is a sweet aspect where one person's love language and the others emotional comfort blend beautifully. The Venus person feels like loving the Moon person comes easy and their efforts are appreciated. The Moon person feels held and supported by the Venus person, and knows that their heart and emotions will not be taken for granted.
Psyche conjunct Moon- This aspect points to a deeply spiritual and divine connection, as Psyche can intuitively feel and absorb Moon's emotions at a soul level. There is a strong empathic and nurturing quality to this aspect, where deep vulnerability and intimacy is present. Emotions can be felt from a distance with this aspect.
Saturn trine Moon- Saturn is patient, and is able to hold space for the Moon's emotions. The Moon feels safe, protected and emotionally supported by Saturn. This aspect brings out Saturn's nurturing and vulnerable side. This aspect can be felt immediately and emotional security and reliance is deepened over time. This is a beautiful aspect to have and shows an enduring bond and potential for a sustainable partnership.
Have you had any of these aspects? What was your experience?
Stay Lifted,
Madison

uuuuu so i really like the problem
I think that if there is a large SMP with 64 creators, and most of them are small/niche creators, and you have little-to-no Brown and Black representation in the cast, the creator of that SMP has no excuse for the lack of representation.
There is no reason you could give to explain why there are no BIPOC creators on that server—especially when that is a demographic which has a disproportionately smaller following—which is not racist. There is no excuse. If you have an SMP that is meant to uplift small creators, but nearly every single player is white, you have done something incredibly wrong and legitimately racist.
Black and Brown content creators are, on average, much smaller than white content creators. People like to cite that as the reason that their SMP doesn't have any representation: they just didn't know of any creators to invite, or creators who were large enough to be on their SMP, or creators who would fit the vibe of their server. That is an already incredibly flimsy and racist excuse, but Lunar Phase? An SMP with a cast of entirely small creators? An SMP with the purpose of uplifting and highlighting small creators in the MCYT community? An SMP with an absolutely massive cast? There is not a single excuse for the sickening lack of racial representation on the server.
I don't care if it was on accident. That's a mistake that should never have had the chance to be made, and the fact that it was? The fact that nobody looked at the cast list and thought "Hey, there aren't any non-white people here, we should fix that"? The fact that an SMP of SIXTY FOUR WHITE-LISTED PEOPLE has TWO non-white creators, and nobody batted an eye? That is racist. Not noticing the lack of Brown and Black people, viewing white as the "default" state of people (subconsciously or not), being anything but actively anti-racist? That is racist.
The only two non-white creators on Lunar Phase are, to my knowledge, TheM1G and LeonSBU. There are no Black creators. There are no dark-skinned or tan-skinned Minecraft skins being used by any of the cast. That is genuinely pathetic.
White people, please don't give commentary in the reblogs. This is not about you. Do not speak on this subject. Reblog, be an ally, and support non-white creators. That is all you need to do.
thanks for the patience with streams and such y'all. honestly, i really needed the past two weeks to just get my mind off everything. i did not realize how much everything that happened so far this year was weighing on me.
streams starting Monday are gonna be entirely focused on catching up with Lunar Phase since i haven't been able to log on as much. may break it up on Wednesday with some Fish Gaming and other activities possibly :)
