I think I really like the chapter because even though Saitama has those concerns about himself, I was so happy for him because:

He has the space to talk about these things with King

He can be open and honest, and he knows that King will also be open and honest with him

And from the way neither of them hesitates to say what they want to say or tries to make little prefaces to make it easier, etc., we know that this is a given thing between the two of them, something that’s already been established long before

They’re both coming from different places, and they recognize that

And their different backgrounds and experiences don’t get in the way of the two of them trying to understand each other

And it’s true, you don’t have to be just like the other person to connect with them and see how they see the world

Because otherwise how lonely would we all be?

King is solution-focused

So we have a lonely [and possibly depressed] egg and King is trying to get him to Do Things that may or may not help him out

There’s gonna be obstacles, both internal (Saitama’s not motivated to do these things) and external (monsters are appearing more and more)

but King doesn’t let these obstacles get in his way in trying to get his friend to test himself against these obstacles

It’s a really good chapter C: and I’m glad it came to you at the right time <33
