So, instead of all that guff, lets focus on Nanna and how you play her. I quite like the twist you put on her story, even if it goes from the myth, but that's not such a bad thing if done right. I'll admit, I'm quite anxious to throw Baldr at you, because I can't quite predict what will happen when they do meet, depending on what part of our timelines it'll fall in. Baldr himself won't be much pleased at an arranged marriage, given he's hardly happy about love anyway, it won't be in his nature to like it so much. It'll be an interesting interaction, and I've no idea how it might go.

"Greetings, have you come for tea?" Iðunn asked, polite but clearly excited at the prospect of guests. Oh, how she hoped this meeting was not to be for more serious matters.

"Aye!" Fandral called attention to the other, a smile on his features. "I was about to enjoy a meal. You should join me." He gestured to the seat across from him.

Her brother was getting married. All week Laerke had been assisting in the preparations for the arrival of Balder's wife-to-be. She wanted to make things nice for this new woman, make her feel accepted. They were to be sister's after all and Laerke knew she would one day be in Nanna's place.
The frenzy of planning was enough of a distraction that she failed to notice the numbers on her arm nearing zero. She had stopped thinking about the timer long ago when the last attempt had been made to strip it from her skin.
Laerke could not be there upon Nanna's initial arrival (there was just so much to do) but would be introduced to her sister-in-law before the feast began.
The princess was waiting at the end of the line as Nanna was introduced to each member of her family. It was when she reached out to hug the young woman that Laerke finally noticed the difference on her wrist.
Well, this was certainly going to complicate things.
She gave Nanna a sheepish smile when she pulled back from the hug, at a loss for words.
Slippery Streets
There were few things in life anymore that Sigyn could really say she enjoyed. Her life has changed so much in the past few years, her attention focused on so many different things that she had lost sight of what was truly important to her. But no matter what happened to her, she would always savor the feeling of the snow crunching under her boots as she walked down the road to the market.
Fresh snow had fallen overnight, and a blanket of white covered the ground, the cars motoring slowly down the street. Holding her basket close, she waited on the sidewalk for the light to change. On a day like today, it didn't take long for others to join her on her corner, some puffing breath into their cupped hands to try to warm them, others sipping steaming mugs of coffee on their way to work. The light turned green and the group started over together, many keeping their eyes on the incoming traffic, just in case someone got stupid.
The majority of people made it to the other curb just fine, but those in the back of the group began to slip, the footsteps in front of them revealing ice. Sigyn was paying more attention to the cars slowly rolling to a stop than where she was stepping. She was a mere foot away from stepping onto the sidewalk when she hit the patch of ice, her feet slipping out from underneath her.
She hit the ground, hard, the breath knocked out of her. Thankfully, however, she didn't hit her head. But she could only wheeze as she tried to get air back into her lungs.
"Is there something I may help you with?"
{Beneath the grate, providing comfort to the goddess who'd collapsed there out of exhaustion, she heard a
soul stir. One not yet for her realm to claim.}
"Why are you here?"
{Her voice boomed like thunder throughout the low reaches of
her hall and she rose to stare tiredly, though nonetheless menacingly, down at those in her hall.}
