The word "lunatic" is so similar to "lunatyk" in my language, and "lunatyk" means someone who sleepwalks. And people used to think the moon and its phases have an effect on this condition, well especially the full moon.

And you know, you're not aware what you're doing or saying when you're in that asleep state but are walking around and might do some dumb or dangerous things. And it's kinda like Reader when their body is out there in the real world but they don't have any idea what's going on when Lunatic possesses them and then when they're back they don't remember what their body was doing the whole time. So it's kinda like they were sleepwalking.

Like Reader called them that for an entirely different reason but it's funny how it fits so well coz they're kinda like a demon that puts you into that state 😭

WAIT THATS LITERALLY SO COOL WHAT, i never realized calling them that could technically have another meaning 😭 it’s actually been super interesting to kinda see different aspects of symbolism that i didn’t even realize existed, like the one time you mentioned where a chapter pretty much only talked about the sun?? i didn’t even realize that 😭

pls i love this, the fact that their “name” can mean two different things is so neat 😭 homie is batshit insane (for good reason yknow) but also does force Reader to “sleepwalk” in a way, especially when they’re just “dreaming”/going through their memories
