Rich people are crazy
So I was at Lunds & Byerly’s, and to all of you saying “but Mama P, your ass is broke” ya I know, but they had a BOGO on Diet Coke that was cheaper than Wal-Mart.
I go in and I can’t find the Diet Coke. There’s tons of organic shit and non GMO gluten free artisan bullshit, but no soda. I find a lady wearing grey so I think maybe she works there and I ask her, and she’s like I don’t work here, but the soda is in that corner. I was shook. There was a whole beverage section with all this fancy shit I couldn’t even buy a severing size container of with the 10 bucks I had.
Anyways, I find the soda and do that self check out because special people are bagging groceries for the customers and its weirding me out. They have a cashier and bagger at every lane. So I pay and I’m about to go load that ish into my garbage car and the guy says “Uh, where are you going?” And I was like “to bring this shit to my car” and I show him my receipt cause I’m thinking he’s thinking I’m stealing.
Nah this dude is like “Oh. We have someone to load it into your car.” Now I work retail, and I know how much that shit sucks so I tell him I can get it myself. Dude says nah, you can’t take the cart to the parking lot. I’ll give you this number and you can drive up. Judy will load it.
Now Judy is probably 65. She looks hella tired and she doesn’t need to be lifting my diet coke packs. She needs retirement benefits, because she looked done with life. Dude straight up took my cart and was like “Nah, I insist, and shoved this number into my hands.”
Why the hell are rich people like this? Who the hell even has the cash to shop at Byerly’s. That one 12pk was $6.21. Rich people are crazy man I s w e a r.
