Summary- desire for consciousness relies on coffee, but not for Chan.

This was a common place for him, taking notes and finding rhythms to beats no one has heard before. The countless energy drinks and protein bars stacked in the trash symboled he had been here for at least a week.

Yet why couldn’t he seem to concentrate? He had done this before yet his mind was like a fresh paper. Deadlines were due, so no matter on his brain, he had work too get done.

The coffee was tempting, the total today? He wasn’t sure but it wasn’t healthy. His trance was shaken with a soft knock on the door. ‘If I don’t answer they’ll go away’. Sadly or positively depending on what side of his brain asks, that wasn’t the outcome.

You! His magical coffee appeared. He could hear it now, how you’d say it wasn’t healthy for him to be here so long. But all he could think after seeing you was ‘I wasn’t with her this entire week’ and he felt bad. You hadn’t seemed to mind, only stressed he was over working. But he minded, how could a good boyfriend leave his princess alone for so long?

“Don’t feel bad. I came here to bust you out. Let’s get some coffee! My treat” although thinking about it, that’s not what he wanted. We mentioned the stack of coffee around his studio, yet he had no desire for that bitter tasting plant, he only wanted you.

Drabble!

Summary: Jin comes home after a long day ready to see you sleeping in bed, only to see you doing the exact opposite.

Jin had expected you to be asleep when he arrived to your shared apartment. He was exhausted, the long practice had worn him out and all he wanted was to lay in bed with you.

He entered the large apartment quietly, silently locking the door, and lightly taking off his shoes. What he didn’t expect was recognizable soft music playing in the kitchen. Tip-toeing across the floor his vision had stopped at a short figure swaying to the rhythm.

With a soft voice he had asked you “Why aren’t you in bed my love?”

My love, a common phrase he had loved to call you, because you were exactly that, his love.

“I’m cooking, Joon texted me, he said you guys had a long practice. So I figured I’d help by feeding you” you paused then continued “I also couldn’t sleep, I missed you”.

He walked forward, his broad shoulders towering over you, and wrapped his arms around your figure. He knew he’d been busy, the comeback just around the corner. He tried his best to be with you, or text you constantly to remind you to eat, rest, or to simply say he loved you. However he knew you hadn’t rested well after seeing your tired body in front of him, had you listened to him? Had you done everything he had asked?

Not wanting you up and unfed much longer he responded with, “Go lay down, I’ll finish up my love. We can eat together and watch a movie, how does that sound?” You didn’t want him stressing his body either, but knowing him he wouldn’t back down until you had done what he said. So letting the utensils down you turned around and tightly wrapped your own arms around him.

With your face against his chest, his heart beating slowly you asked “can we cuddle?”. And with no hesitation Jin responded “of course” with a smile on his face looking down at you.

You had finished your late dinner, both in the middle of the bed. Jin was simply on his back, his head being held by pillows while one arm had been wrapped around you and the other had his fingers running through your hair. You had your head on his chest, his heart beat making a pattern, your arm rested on his stomach and legs around him like a koala.

“I love this” he stated.

“Love what?” “This, you and I, sleepy cuddles. It makes me feel like my whole world is complete”.

And it was, because at the end of the day he had everything he needed.

Summary: A narrative from Seungmin explaining his love for you.

And although your companies weren’t happy about it, he couldn’t go a day without you near him or he just might cry. That’s how much he loved you.

But he didn’t share those feelings as regularly as he’d wish. If perhaps dispatch had found you, or saesangs had done something, he would never forgive himself. Those feelings he felt inside; like the giddy bubbly feelings in his belly when you hold hands or kiss, like the proud feeling in his heart when he sees you walk to the podium to accept your award, like the tearful feeling he doesn’t enjoy because it means you will be away from him soon; he wasn’t able to show them.

Luckily for him, after 3 months waiting for your group to come back home, he can finally hold you tight in his arms tonight. 3 months, 3 long months without you. It had felt like a lifetime. And although you called, texted, FaceTimed, it would never be the same. So to say he was overjoyed was an understatement.

Minho would make fun of him, saying he was on his toes. But Minho knew how much he loved you. So truly he was happy for his younger brother, happy he met his “soulmate”.

Chan would tell him to be careful regularly, for both you and Seungmin. As much as he loved you together he knew how hectic the idol life could be, he knew how hectic the image of an idol could be. He cared for you both deeply, thinking of you as a baby sister more than a future sister-in-law, so he wanted to make sure both of you were always in tiptop shape.

The rest of the brothers would share similar words of encouragement as they all drove to your dorm, Seungmin would be crazy to think it’d be only him missing you; but it’d be him missing you the greatest.

He hopes for both your sakes you safely arrive home, no one crowding your sleepy figure as you politely excuse yourself.

But he sees no cameras, no people loitering around your dorm. So he does what his brain says to do.

He runs.

Runs faster than he thought he could. He was ready, ready to have you in his arms, ready to kiss you deeply, ready to say I love you unconditionally. He was ready to have you near him again.

And there you are right in front of him as he opened the door. You look tired, worn out from the long trip. But just like him you run to him, you wrap your arms around him as he lifts you up from the ground.

The boys all joined, greeting your group and all squishing yourselves in a big group hug. But at the end of the night, it all calms down and it’s just you and him.

Just like he remembered he holds you tight against him. You’re laid on top of him as he hugs you tight like a teddy bear, your head against the corner of his neck. He hums a little melody, while he can feel you smile against his neck. So it reminds him, it reminds him how much he’d do to see your smile.

It’s been a long day, but to finish it off his last words before you drift off to sleep “When I look at you smile there's nothing more I could ask for”. With that, Seungmins chapter of his love story ends here.
