That's so so exciting; I can't wait to read your next update! The tiny bits we are shown in canon of Mary and Matthew as expecting parents were so adorable and I wish we'd seen so much more so I've loved all those scenes in your fic. The scene in S3CS where Matthew reads to Mary and the baby lives rent-free in my head.

They’re cutting a path toward the escape pods, he realizes abruptly. “And did you figure that out before or after you cut their ship loose?” he asks, picking one sharp, icy thought out of the buzzing clamor emerging in his mind.

Yo ok it’s from a tiktok account called @/alexandraskitchen and it is the best, easiest bread I’ve ever made. It turns out every time!

So today I had a very strange experience. Had @luxheroica not reminded me it happened, I’d probably remember it in a few months and pass it off as a weird fever dream.

So this week it was convenient for us to meet up on her way over spend a couple days at my place, so we met downtown before we both grabbed the bus back together. Normal bus ride, arrive at the park-n-ride by my apartment, weather’s nice, so we just decide to walk the few blocks rather than catch a bus for them. 

As we’re getting pretty close, she notices a CD sticking out of the fence around someone’s yard. We take a look, and it’s literally hanging between two slats of the wooden fence, held up by a string through the middle, tied around the beam that holds the fence together. looks like some 20-year-or-more old business software installation CD.

As we’re wondering what the hell that’s about, a very old jeep driving by with two VERY frat guy looking dudes in the front slows down, and the one driving waves towards us (who are just sitting there staring at a CD in a fence while holding hands) through his wide open window, and yells to the guy in the passenger seat “THAT COULD BE US MAN. THAT COULD BE US.”

He then speeds back up, continuing to shout at his friend while we are left there in stunned confusion. I still have no clue what was going on, or why.

He hadn’t even seen it and he kept saying that I just liked it because “it had two dudes kissing.” And kept poking fun at me for it the whole 4 hours we hung out. 

I know it’s really stupid but like... YOI made me happier than I have been in months so it really hurt. It means a lot to me. I had to listen to him babble about his stupid D&D campaign but he wouldn’t listen to me explain why I like my favorite anime so much? 

He’s going in the trash.

actually this was so much fun to write after being consumed with friends-to-lovers lately. have some of our favorite enemies-to-lovers, emphasis on the enemies!!!

Ren’s rage burns, flashing over into a violent incandescence. The infuriated scream that escapes him is bone-shaking, like a wild animal trapped and harassed for sport finally freed to lash out. It’s all Poe can do to hold steady, his drawn blaster before him. His gut instincts say shoot. His memory tells him exactly how that would end. The neural inhibitor is fried. The gravity cuff is gone. An animal can be outrun, a rancor dodged and tricked, but Kylo Ren can snatch his thoughts and freeze his limbs and stop a blaster bolt in its path.  He doesn’t have to wait long. Ren turns on him, all hot aggression in his approach, barely acknowledging the weapon between them with a flicked glance before he’s looming over Poe. “Do you even know what you’ve done?” Ren hisses. Poe lifts his chin, meets his eye. His finger rests securely on the trigger. “Yes.” “Do you?!” he growls, flinging an arm out for emphasis. Poe tilts his head to avoid it — measured, not a flinch. Ren’s face twists, then settles into something sharp and honed. “So this was it, all along. The pity. The guilt. You denied it, but even without the Force, I knew.”
