I've been working on the Lion's Memory achievement, and I've been making the corresponding weapon from each trinket as I've gone. And I've noticed. Each weapon and the corresponding characters profession matches up with the 3rd set of elite specializations.

- pistol has a quote from marjory (necromancer - harbinger)

- hammer has a quote from rox (ranger - untamed)

- dagger has a quote from kasmeer (mesmer - virtuoso)

- sword has a quote from braham (guardian - willbender)

- mace has a quote from taimi (engineer - mechanist)

I just think it's a really cute easter egg, inconsequential but clever!

“Lost” Lore: Canach’s First Meeting

Fun little fact: If you took a sylvari through The Lost Shores back in November 2012, during Phase 1 when you first meet Canach, you got a second dialogue option that was essentially the sylvari Commander entering fangirl mode over meeting a famous Secondborn.

But once Canach dismisses the “flattery and gossip”, thhe Commander then drops a Game of Thrones / Godfather reference and goes for MURDER.

Word of thumb: if the Commander praises you, take the compliment.

This monday, Aug 21 at 8:30PM after reset, Sapphire Claw guild will attempt the 6 minutes to Knightfall/Another 6 Minutes to Knightfall achievement in Battle for Lion's Arch.

This achievement requires you to defeat all three Assault Knights in under 6 minutes. (It's actually 5 minutes since the first minute of "set up" also counts)

The squad will be a 50 man squad going into a private instance to ensure we get a clean map.

Everyone is welcome, but slots will be limited.

We will be launching from Eye of the North, so be there early if you join the squad.
