They drive me right up the fucking wall with Laureus. It is a charity, and a good one. The money raised from this show always goes to the foundation. It is NOT some high-paying gig for Cumberbatch. The presenters, hosts and many other people who work on it are volunteering their time.

As with other charities that Benedict has involved in (especially Letters Live), I’m sure the haters will demand to see the receipts OR they’ll accuse Sophie of embezzling from Laureus.

It’s also the 3rd year in a row that Benedict has been asked to host the awards, which obviously means they like him in the host role.

Benedict Cumberbatch Spotted

This is how I managed to spot Benedict Cumberbatch tonight.  So, I was casually stalking Benedict Cumberbatch in Kuala Lumpur  during the Laureus World Sports Award. Missed him at the show. Casually strutted up to the door of the after party, I got stopped.  When I was wallowing in sorrow in the hotel right opposite, I glanced up and he was there. Like a knight in shiny armor.

Security was tight, with 4 guards around him, I couldn't take a picture, or even speak to him. But I SAW HIM! 

That's all that matters!
