i am SICK and TIRED of people saying “omg!! nobody chose ragatha!! shes gonna abstract!!” when THAT WASNT THE POINT
there was SO much build up to this scene but you guys are too focused on funnybunny to even be paying attention.
in this scene ragatha was choosing who in the circus valued her more. that was the point of this scene. she’s finally realizing that jax and pomni don’t value her as a friend as much as she values them.
so obviously she chose gangle, zooble, and kinger.
“but why?” WELL im glad you asked!!! because i’ll show you one of the main reasons why!!!
after ragatha snaps at jax, pomni offers up her bat to ragatha, telling her that its a “second chance” (double meaning btw!!).
obviously if you watched the episode then you know that ragatha didn’t get to hit, and the big tops won while she is out there.
(don’t mind the captions i cannot understand anything without captions)
ragatha looks back, and she sees pomni talking with jax. not celebrating the win, not watching ragatha bat, just talking to jax.
this is whats going on in ragathas head: She let me bat instead of her so she could talk to Jax.
Pomni. Gave. Her. Bat. To. Ragatha. So. She. Could. Talk. To. Jax.
and who knows if that IS what pomni meant to do? maybe she did just get stuck talking to jax.
but by putting myself in ragathas shoes? i would genuinely be feeling my heat drop. like i’d be crying.
that’s genuinely SO CRAPPY.
and what happens after is SO IMPORTANT.
Kinger PICKS up ragatha, and tells her “you did it!”
keep in mind, ragatha didn’t even hit the second time she went up, she was just being there (funni episode ref haha).
AND THEN zooble and gangle come over to congratulate her, and celebrate the win!!
you can tell that ragatha is so happy in that moment.
that moment that ragatha and pomni have when jax is attacking evil jax is. i.
THE GUILT. THE GUILT IN POMNIS FACE. she knows what she did.
so yes, OBVIOUSLY she would pick gangle, zooble, and kinger. they actually value her!!
they care more that pomni and jax!
also, I BEG YOU to watch any interaction ragatha has with people in this episode. it just adds more and more reasons to why ragatha would pick gangle, zooble, and kinger over jax and pomni.
this was such a ragatha episode omg.
