A dorm based on the Fairest Queen’s spirit of tenacity. Pomefiore is the oldest of the dorms and houses students who excel at potionology and curses, as well as cultivating a unique sense of style.
Though not as rigid as Heartslabyul, Pomefiore is a dorm of high standards and makes an art of putting one’s best foot forward as often as possible. You may not care to have especially high ambitions, but you still put a lot of effort into cultivating your skills and overcoming your flaws. Though you often tend to be quiet and shy, passion burns in your heart and drives your goals forward step by step. Whether it’s singing, writing, or art, you enjoy throwing yourself into your interests as much as possible. Within the dorm, you are in good company with your politeness and emphasis on manners—your housewarden does not tolerate Pomefiore students making the dorm look bad due to poor conduct. Thankfully, you will not be drawing his ire in that way! Besides that, your personal sense of style is welcomed and encouraged, and you’ll likely be able to find some inspiration when it comes to trying other styles as well.

Siren’s Lullaby!” Though sirens in mythology are often regarded as dangerous and tricky, cruelly leading people to their doom, your spell is actually quite tame and gentle. And not nearly as lethal! For as long as you sing or hum after your incantation, you are able to lull people into a drowsy, pliable state. Some actually fall asleep, but most just struggle to keep themselves alert. People can’t help but stop and listen, drawn to you. Effects linger for a short period of time after you stop singing. Of course, the longer you sing, the more quickly blot accumulates. While you have no plans to get into any actual combat situations, this spell can be helpful for temporarily putting opponents out of commission.

— FIRST MEETING -> Settling into your second year at NRC has been rather hectic, but enjoyable nonetheless. You’re still getting used to your new schedule and classmates, but you honestly kind of missed the hustle and bustle of classes, club activities, and dorm shenanigans. At the end of your last class of the morning, you take your time gathering up your textbook and notebooks in your arms as you get ready to leave, avoiding the gaggle of students trying to rush through the door at the same time. From the corner of your eye, you catch sight of a silver-haired classmate with his head resting on his folded arms, snoozing away. You shake your head; no matter how tired or bored you are during class, you could not fathom falling asleep. It’s rather disrespectful.
But you also don’t want whoever it is to sleep through lunch; it feels too rude to do so. So you step over towards his desk, gently nudging his arm… and eventually (eventually, because this boy seems to be a heavy sleeper!) the prettiest pair of purple eyes meet yours.
— BONDING -> Given the fact that both of you are quite reserved and not particularly chatty, it takes a while for you two to get to know each other. It helps that you’re friendly and kind, despite your shyness—likewise, Silver is respectful and kind, if just a bit rough around the edges sometimes. Besides, the proximity of you two sharing some classes definitely helps as well! After your first encounter, your gaze seems to drift over to him quite often. Sometimes he’s diligently taking notes, sometimes he’s sleeping… and other times, his gaze meets yours. You’re quick to look away when that happens, but you do eventually pique Silver’s interest regardless. Slowly, simple greetings at the start of class turn into walking to your next class together, sitting at the same table at lunch, exchanging phone numbers so that you can text, spending free time together on the weekends… Eventually, you two become rather close!
Your personalities are similar overall. Like attracts like, and you two are very compatible with each other. One notable difference is your emotionality and sentimentality—not that Silver isn’t emotional deep down, but he doesn’t show his emotions as readily as you and is very good at pushing them to the side if he’s busy. He can understand your reluctance when it comes to being vulnerable, so he never pushes too hard when you seem to be feeling off (though he does ask if you want to open up, and he tends to stay by your side regardless if you open up or not).

— DATES -> Whenever you two are able to get some time away from campus, Silver adores accompanying you to the beach! Given where he was raised, he is much more used to the dark, gloomy environment of Briar Valley… but he doesn’t have the same aversion to sunlight as Lilia and Malleus, so he’s happy to let the warmth of the sun shine on him. While not necessarily a date activity, you love going out on relaxing dates with him outdoors since animals gravitate towards him—you get your fill of feathery and furry animal encounters at his side!
— LOVE LANGUAGES -> Silver’s love is certainly on the quiet side, but that doesn’t mean you notice it any less. He tends to show his love through actions rather than words by default, but his verbal affection is incredibly sweet nonetheless (and he leans into it more once he realizes how much his compliments and reassurances mean to you). At the start of your relationship, he can be a bit shy with physical touch as he doesn’t want to overwhelm you or overstep any boundaries, but he is quick to warm up to it. He especially adores hugging you and being able to rest his chin atop your head as he squishes you to his chest. Him falling asleep is extremely likely when the two of you are cuddling (despite his attempts to fight sleep so he can consciously enjoy your company); this chance is doubled anytime you run your fingers through his hair.
When in a relationship, he gravitates towards being the protector; taking care of others comes to him very naturally, too (your spoiled youngest sibling title is not something that will scare him off). — ACE TRAPPOLA -> Rival. Well, a rival of sorts. Given the way you avoid confrontation as much as possible (on top of your natural inclinations to treat people with respect), you attempt to act civilly towards people even if you don’t particularly enjoy their company. You and Ace technically get along, but you can’t stand the way he incessantly heckles you and others—lighthearted teasing is one thing, but his words all too often tend to be barbed, sharp little things that dig into your heart. He has his moments where he’s surprisingly thoughtful and funny, but most of the time his presence drains you. Ace’s opinion of you is largely neutral, though he considers you to be too sensitive and “boring” for his tastes (“boring” only because he hasn’t gotten on good enough terms with you to actually see your true personality). You limit your interactions with him as much as possible, mostly coming into contact with him in passing.
— JACK HOWL -> Best friend. Jack checks all the boxes when it comes to the type of people you enjoy being around. Whether you meet due to classes or because you have a mutual friend in Epel, it seems like an unlikely friendship at first! It’s definitely a more gradual friendship, given that you’re both more on the reserved side (and Jack appears much more rough around the edges at first glance). The foundation is rooted in shared compassion and honesty—it makes for a very calm, solid, emotionally beneficial relationship!
