Things had been relatively quiet, peaceful even, when the door to the backroom opened. What followed was heavy and ragged breathing as the uneven sound of bootsteps moved across the floor. A glance back revealed a hand actively smearing blood across the door and walls of the secret passage way, a familiar courier just barely managing to stay upright, clinging to the wall and their stomach with a sense of desperation they’ve never had before.

The armor they wore, modified combat armor and a centurion helmet no doubt stolen off a corpse, was just barely hanging on, cracked and splintered to something unusable. The supersledge attached to their back probably wasn’t helping either.

“Hey Yes Man-” their voice came out strained, “- can I crash here for just a little? I think my legs are about to give out.”

He turned to look at the courier, smiling as always. "Of course you can! Stay as long as you want." That was the expected response. Whether it was genuine was always up for interpretation. He started searching the workshop. "It looks like you need a stimpack!"

What’s everyone’s favorite flavors?

Sans - You know how a diner smells? That combination of scents that's hard to pick any one thing out of? Just all eggs and cheese, grilled meat and onions and peppers, pancakes and potatoes and fryer oil? Anything that invokes that is his favorite. Also coffee, heavy on the sugar.

Papyrus - He can be a bit picky with his food, but generally he likes Italian flavors. Pasta, cheese, tomatoes. Basil and oregano. Largely because spaghetti was the first thing he learned to cook and has good memories of his friends attached to it, and since learning that he should taste-test his cooking, he's gotten pretty good at making it! He also really enjoys oatmeal cookies and fruit smoothies.

Red - Steak (rare, almost bloody), chocolate ice cream, and whiskey are his top three favorite flavors. Preferably in that order. Coffee in any form and tobacco are also up there.

Edge - Good quality red wine and dark chocolate (at least 70% so it's nice and bitter) are his very favorites. He likes strong, almost biting flavors. Balsamic vinegar on his salads. Aged cheeses. Coffee taken black. That sort of thing.

Stretch - Anything sweet 100%. Hes' not too picky about what it is. Vanilla, chocolate, caramel, fruit flavors... as long as it's sugary, it's good! (Except for fake banana. He's not a fan of that one.) His absolute favorite flavor, if he had to pick just one, might be chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream sandwiched in between so it's melting a little. An unbeatable comfort combination.

Blue - Mexican flavors are his favorite! Carne asada, a nice birria taco, al pastor... He likes to mix those with a nice yellow rice. And pair it with a good beer, of course! Since getting to the surface, he's been having fun trying out different kinds of craft beers, just to see what's out there! He likes the ones with just a hint of fruit to them the best.

If Johnny’s a bottle blonde, then what’s his real hair?

well... it's complicated!

i have it set to where, since Johnny has no known father, that his father could be nearly anyone since that leaves the door open for some unique rp interactions with other rpers — and that also means that, depending on whoever Johnny's father is for that verse, his natural hair color may be different! so for instance, i've entertained the thought of Larry Laffer from Leisure Suit Larry being Johnny's father, which would mean in that verse Johnny's natural hair color is black like Larry's. or in another rp interaction i've had where Johnny's father was Sandy from Lego Monkie Kid, so in that verse his natural hair would be orange instead.

that could also mean in some cases his natural hair actually COULD be blond and he doesn't really dye it after all. so basically: it's kinda just up to interpretation & varies on the thread! YOU decide! 🫵
