#aboutthisweekend ... @lyonsdenpy for a full day assisting team meeting / workshop ... so much to say about this but first off, giant thank you to my Chelsea hosts - Elana and Jonathon sichel ... and to @nachmommy for hosting me for lunch (because perhaps I'm a yogi, and there was still 5 hours of yoga remaining after the lunch break, but let's be real, if there's no chulent, it wasn't actually Shabbos).. so much gratitude to you guys for making the entire Shabbos in TriBeCa an actual thing, an actual Shabbos. And then nextly, @katielrichey for organizing and facilitating and teaching and sharing and so much! Loved spending my day with this awesome group and learning so much from everyone both in the workshops and during the breaks! The thing about this amazing crew is that everyone is always sharing and connecting and helping each other. But wait, highlight of my day - when I was the closest one to the light and was asked to turn the light on after class ... and had to say (in front of the entire group), 'actually, no I can't...' moments like that, there is that tiny milasecond of doubt, of 'what do I do? I'll sound so dumb' but then there's the rush of confidence and empowerment that ensues immediately after when you did what you know is right and then realized how simple it was after everyone burst out laughing. Right, today, you can't turn on the light. And then while sitting there it hit me - these trainings, they always work out. Perhaps not as simple as taking a subway to the training then back, but with a bit of planning it just all comes together, always. So with that, I'm going to verbalized this one, which is pretty scary to say since it's a full week commitment and not just a day or two ... but level 1.... I'm coming for you! Committing to making it work, perhaps not the next one or even the one after that, but with some planning, I'm going to make it happen! #baptisteyoga #whybaptisteyoga #lyonsden #lyonsdenpoweryoga #assistingteam (at LYONS DEN POWER YOGA)
