FOR LYSANDRE — BELLFLOWER FLAVORED TEA

a strong drink that you don’t much care for. Still, you force yourself to drink it down — because who else would? Someone has to. It may as well be you. The hot and uncomfortably bitter liquid coats your throat and makes your stomach twist.

FOR AUGUSTINE — LYCHEE FLAVORED BUBBLE TEA

a much more preferred drink. You feel a little guilty hogging it to yourself, but you can’t help it — the flavor beckons to you. You drink it all up, and feel a little warmer for it, even though the drink itself was cold.

Introducing his students to Lysandre was probably a mistake--- but how could he have predicted he’d react like that?

Giving that bit of oration in the café about people being filth- that wasn’t really the Lysandre he was familiar with. It was true he’d often been passionate, and said some things that he didn’t exactly agree with, but this. 

This was new. Not to Lysandre, perhaps. Not to Team Flare. But to him. 

How could he not have noticed?

Lysandre was his friend. A good friend that he’d hoped would redeem himself. 

He’s not so sure anymore.

“It’s been a while since we’ve caught up.” Diantha absentmindedly stirred her straw around her drink, pleased enough to hold conversation with Lysandre. They’d spoken from time to time over the years, as prominent figures of their society were bound to do. But it’d been a while yet since she’d last seen the man, given the business of their respective careers.

The café felt as good a place as any, allowing them both to take a minute to simply be, lost in the hustle and bustle of the busy shop. “I trust that you’re well?”
