Man. I'm gonna be up for a while thinking about this post.

I scrubbed the internet to try and figure out what the hell this bigot was talking about "Rudolph and Clarice have a child" and literally the only thing I could find was a Wikipedia article for some BBC spinoff that didn't even have pictures of said media?? They??? Don't have children??? Literally baffled did this guy just pull stuff out of their ass to support their narrative

Like I stated in the tags of that post, I definitely don't have a problem with that interpretation of Rudolph at all. I had debated on whether or not I should make Rudolph transmasc, but to me it didn't make sense narrative-wise that his peers would respect and use his pronouns but openly criticize his nose. That's just a me thing though and more power to you if you portray Rudy as transfem, transmasc, nonbinary, etc. ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

But it does make me wonder what it would be like if they did have offspring. Would said baby have a red nose like their father? Would the nose be the standard, like Clarice's? Would that baby be trans? 👀

Do you feel that you'd received the respect you deserved from others? Or do you think it's only as far as you're useful to Santa's team? (Rudolph obvs)

With this question, the buck lowers his head, ears twitching and brows furrowing. He's had time to reflect on a question like this — Thinking on his own quite a bit. Of course, his closest friends are the ones who accepted him in the beginning. He values them above all else.

2. How loosely or strictly do they use the word ‘friend’?

Outwardly, Rudolph has a tendency to consider pretty much anyone his friend, but internally he may not really consider it true. Only a very select few are true friends to him, and because of his rocky upbringing, he's left to question his faith in friendship. Do others truly like them for who he is, or is it just because he's been deemed a famous hero? Do they really like him, or is it all fake for an alternative purpose?

46. Are they a listener or a talker? If they’re a listener, what makes them talk? If they’re a talker, what makes them listen?

I think Rudolph is more of a listener, and I believe it's a product of conditioning he's been put through. I feel like whenever he tries to speak, he's usually talked over for one reason or another, whether it's intentional or not. I can certainly see it with characters like his parents and many of the other reindeer, and possibly even Yukon and Hermey. Obviously Yukon and Hermey care about Rudolph and don't mean anything by it, but they strike me as the more talkative while Rudolph is more timid and softspoken. I see Rudolph as a character that has been silenced more than he's been supported, and because of that, he isn't really sure what he wants out of life or what he wants to talk about.

The reindeer's ear twitches as he looks up from grazing on their dinner. He's quiet for a moment, as if contemplating words in response, before a smile curls his muzzle. He leans into the doe, tickling her neck with his ever-glowing nose.

And there it was, again. It just came so naturally — to utter an apology for everything. For this, for that... For simply existing in a way that others in the North Pole did not find appealing. It was an ongoing pattern — to take the blame whenever anyone around him seemed upset. And if ever he was upset, that was an apology too.
