Summary: Yelena attempts to cut her own hair but it doesn’t go to plan and you end up having to help out.

A/n: I found a really cute prompt list for September so I thought I would write about them. They will probably only be short (like this one) but hopefully still good :)

Ship: Yelena x Reader

"No! Don't come in!" Yelena yelled from the bathroom.

"Yelena, sweetie, it's ok! I would never laugh at you. We can fix it." You responded. Yelena had decided to save you both some money and cut her own hair but guessing from her current state she wasn't so successful.

"I look completely stupid though! I can't go out like this." She cried.

"Ok, look, I'm going to need you to either unlock the door or I'm going to kick it down."

After a second of silence, the door slowly creaked open and she stood there with her head down in embarrassment which accidentally gave you a better view of the bird's nest hair on her head.

"Oh Yelena, what have you done…" you mumble quietly.

"Is it really that bad on top?"

"It'll be ok. I can fix it," you say with a comforting smile. I walk in and see the mountain of hair products and tools on the counter.

It took about 45 minutes for me to untangle her hair and another 15 to style it. All the while I was doing it I would get kisses on the hands and arms from Yelena. Throughout the whole process, she was admiring you in the mirror.

“Y/n?” she said.

“Yeah?”

“You’re amazing.”

You look back at her and your smile says it all. Yelena couldn’t believe she was lucky enough to have you as a partner.
