...So, you're telling me "the great king" Osiris was walking around, burning libraries and temples, killing people (which is legally defined as a war crime nowadays, btw) - and nobody, Literally NOBODY cared??? Maat even compares him to an "evil god"? How the hell did everyone end up cherishing Osiris and defending him with no doubts when Seth suddenly lost his mind, then? Unless, it was all carefully planned by Thoth, Maat and others in advance?
So the person who destroyed Hermopolis (at least once) was Osiris in the end. People were predicting a lot of things, so it's interesting to know that... all roads lead to Osiris being an asshole lol Really makes you wonder, if Maat and Thoth knew about this (or at least Maat knew), why they trusted Osiris and supported him. Maybe what Seth did during his reign was viewed as worse? Maybe Osiris made a deal with Maat and Thoth about it? Maybe Osiris toppling the Ogdoad was something Thoth and/or Maat wanted? Maybe they viewed the attack as fair somehow?
Given the discussion about absorption for gaining power, I'm wondering if that's how Osiris got his fire powers: maybe during the war (e.g., what we see in S2E78), he stole some of Ra's power, and that's why Isis considered his win "horrific" in S2E97. Thoth seemingly indicates that his two forms are different people, and they merged/Thoth absorbed the female aspect(?), so is it possible that Osiris absorbed Ra's male aspect? He seemingly stole the mirror from her, too, so it wouldn't be surprising he somehow absorbed some of her power, as well. It's interesting in regard to the typical real-world myth where Isis tricks Ra into revealing his name to her, so she can have power over him, and hand the throne to Osiris. But this is just speculation: it might be something else entirely that Isis considers horrific. After all, if Osiris had fire powers prior to going to Duat, why not use them on Seth? He wasn't afraid of hurting Seth, even when he drugged Seth to make him weak, so that doesn't seem like a reason. Still likely he got them by being in Duat somehow.
In a minor way, it's fun that we're getting so many shots of Osiris with no headdress. His hair/lack of hair has been an ongoing argument in fandom, outside Mojito making a kind of weird tweet about it some years ago, so it's good to know he's confirmed to actually just be bald.
We also finally got the panel that Horus preview in March was for!
This is interesting because in the past (at least the relatively recent past), Mojito only previewed art for the immediately following episode. This seems to indicate she is drawing episodes well in advance. A while back she seemed to indicate season 2 was already completely drawn, but it also sounds like maybe that's not the case. Wonder how big her buffer is.

In mythology, Kronos ate his children to stop them from rebelling against him, including Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon (and he attempted to eat Zeus but was thwarted). It's not exactly absorbing them, but it would be interesting if that's what FG is thinking about. In one myth, Zeus ate Metis, who was pregnant with Athena, and later Athena was born from Zeus' head. Given that's possibly what FG is referring to in S2E115, who knows what he's thinking of here? I'm not otherwise sure how absorbing someone else would be useful. That being said, authors have dealt with the idea of Apollo absorbing abilities from Helios and becoming stronger as a result, and some cults equated the two gods as one being (like Apollo's sister, Artemis, with Selene). FG could be Zeus, but Apollo still isn't out of the question for me. Or some other god entirely.
I honestly wonder if the maybe Seth lost memory thing is another of Osiris' bullshit ideas for why Seth doesn't care for him, similar to S2E78 where Osiris, wrongly, assumed Seth just wanted a partner who could create babies rather than, you know, Seth is in love with Nephthys, the person. "Seth only cares for me platonically because he lost his memory of all the times I was loving to him! That's the only reason he would care for Nephthys!" - Osiris, probably. He's that desperate and pathetic, and unwilling to approach Seth as a person with wants.
Like idk, the last time Osiris went to confront another god at their temple while destroying stuff, he was following a trail on a notion he made up and just used it to attack the god in question, ignoring advice that he was an idiot. I find it hard to believe anything about Maat's comment is legitimate other than "that's what Osiris claimed he was doing." Osiris went to Ra to get a power he isn't allowed to have, for a reason he made up. He could have made up everything with this, too. He's literally always a conman who just makes up bullshit and destroys stuff and ruins everything he touches. Not gonna take anything he does at face value.
Also, frankly, I know people think this is part of the fan theory about their lost past or whatever, but if Osiris somehow romanced Seth before, why didn't it work a second time? Why did he come up with a bs reason that Ra and Seth pointed out was bs? What was so overpowered about Nephthys that Osiris couldn't do his tricks, again, to get Seth to fall for him? Yes, people change, time passes, and maybe Nephthys became Seth's closer sibling after the alleged amnesia (whereas I guess Osiris had more of a chance before or something), but this is just... really far-fetched if it's a thing. I'm sure it'll make sense if it's the plot and Mojito explains it, it's just odd to wrap your head around. If Osiris knew that gods can lose their memory after ascension, why didn't Isis, Nephthys, or Seth know? Why did Osiris never try convincing Seth, "You lost your memory of when we were close when you ascended." There's just a lot of loose ends on things if we take even parts of the fan theories as valid.
...This looks like an organized coup d'état, with the purpose of destroying Seth's very essence. Am I right, ladies? Sekhmet, Thoth and so-called "Goddess of Justice" Maat are definitely in. I had a better opinion on this transgender couple. The manhwa should be called "Seth Pilgrim VS The World" at this point.
