I am back in my vintage oc phase and am thinking very much about Ms Mabel Fleischer

By day she works at a television network hosting a show for small children in a manner similar to Sesame Street and by night she drinks just a bit too much and prowls the local drag clubs with Kings and her ‘husband’ who is just as gay as she is in their lavender marriage cover-up 💋

'Hypocrite' is Fievel's favorite vocab word, which he uses often to describe his Aunt Mabel

He's too young to understand that she's just doing all she can to keep him safe and not grow up to be surly like her

Me and @spaloonbabooguuscooties have been talkin’ about different girl versions of the mask so here’s mine!

Her name’s Mabel, she’s a type of rubberhose mask 😎

During the day she hosts for a kid’s show similar to Sesame Street, but being surrounded by singing muppets all day hasn’t been good on her psyche, and she can’t have an adult life without people at bar’s and casino’s saying “hey! It’s the puppet lady!” So having the mask lets her go buck wild, y’know?

Here’s a motley crew of oc’s I’ve grown attached to these past few weeks!

From left to right we have Weston Barnabas Wolf, Maisy Catsmith, Mabel Fleischer, Fievel Fleischer, and Bianca Bunny

Fievel has always been a sweet little guy, if a bit meek. Born the runt of the litter, he's a lot smaller than his classmates, and tends to keep to himself because of it. He was adopted by Mabel when he was just a baby, and they live in a little apartment down the road

Maisy is energetic, resourceful, and maybe a bit loud. She often dives head first into situations without thinking and gets hurt. She always sticks up for Fievel and looks up to Mr. Wolf. She wants to be tough like him but today she wore a dress just for this picture!

Between her monotone voice and aloof personality its hard for people to get close to Bianca. But if they gave her the time they'd find she's not being rude, she's just like that (and also very sweet) Bianca prides herself on her IQ and her looks, and loves to share obscure facts with others in an attempt to bond

"She's a lamb with wolves fangs" or at least that's what Mr. Wolf says about her. Mabel is extremely doting and protective of her loved ones such as her nephew Fievel (he calls her Aunt Mabel). She and Mr. Wolf work at the same job and have been best friends for years

"He's secretly a big softie" or at least that’s what Mabel says. Mr. Wolf thinks of himself as an old-fashioned tough guy and if you earn his respect he'll have your back until the end. He's secretly admired Bianca for years but is too shy to say anything. Twice a month he sends a check in the mail to his mama
