I hate to show PDA on my blog (not really, suffer all ye weary listeners the toiling fate of my splendor and joy). This track is a modest thank-you, not just for playing Minecraft with me, but for partaking in some of my favorite recent days and playing a major role in bringing infectious smiles to my face. I’m not sure how to put something as abstract as authoring my emotional highs into words, so hopefully this piece titled “Thanks For Playing Minecraft With Me” suffices.
I’m really pleased with how my remixes seem to be doing on Tumblr; it wasn’t something I ever really expected to get much traction. The premise behind this remix is basically “what if she had a gun”. Originally devised as another mean girl’s theme (complete with gun rips from the Die Hard series, vocal sfx, gun percussives, the gist), I figure paying tribute to the original theme would be appropriate. This is also one of two Susie remixes, so, hey, vote for your favorite.
