Man, I've got a lot to say about this piece. Wanted it to be equal parts hopeful & hopeless. The implication of a duty freely given versus Kris being compelled to accept it. How do you handle being the hero of a story that directly follows another person's heroism? Strange stuff.

Coloration & whatnot... Hogs, I really love putting the title of the thing into the thing. Word art forever. Basically the entire piece was designed to emanate a golden warmth that feels almost sinister contrasted against Castle Town & Kris, in cooler colors. Does it get across? LMAO. Had a blast either way.
