Hi!
I have been going through my palettes the last few days and decided to visit some old favs and come up with new looks. Of course we all know by now I adore warm toned shadows and pretty much anything glitter so the Morphe Bronze 35 palette is a personal fav of mine. I have to say I actually prefer this over the Urban Decay Honey palette because this palette is almost half the price at £24 and you get triple the shades. I adore Morphe palettes because they’re so pigmented and rich in colour,I own a few palettes from them now and honestly they are so worth the money.
For today’s look I decided to use my two favourite autumn shades orange and burgundy and see what I could create. You may notice burgundy is just a running theme in my clothes, makeup, hair and pretty much everything else. Gold, bronzes and oranges really compliment my blue eyes so I love to play with them the most. From the Morphe palette I took a golden shimmer in the centre of my lid, a dark bronze shade in my crease and in my inner corner I used the lightest cream glitter. Trying to discuss Morphe shades is kinda annoying since they don’t have names so sorry for being vague. For my eyeliner I used the LOreal matte liner and gave myself a basic cat eye which I honestly love wearing all the time now. In the summer I find it hard to wear eyeliner because my eyes water so much but I’m the winter your girl is free to play. And lastly to tie the look together I used my MAC viv glam II lipstick which is a burgundy purple tone and yeah I’m aware you can’t see it under a mask but since it’s a matte lipstick it’s long lasting luckily so those little mask breaks give my lips. Moment to shine.
I love makeup looks like these because if you saw someone on the street with this look you’d think it took ages but really it’s a 5 minute process (if that) and yet it leaves me looking all matchy matchy with minimal effort. If you have a makeup look or a colour story you’d like me to do a makeup look with let me know and I’ll do it!!
Lots of love
