B-But.... Mind controlling somebody to get me the things on the high shelves in the mall can't be that bad, can it? It didn't hurt them... *huffs*

"Would you like some tea, Alice? .... Alice?"
[Headcanon Drabble] The Hatter's Never-ending Tea Party
Many people still believed that it was just Alice whom he wished to attend to his parties. But no, that was not true at all. Sure, she was a big element. But so were the dormouse, the March Hare and even the occasional visit from a caterpillar would be delightful as well. But Alice was special in a way because she always reminded him that nobody shared his Wonderland. Nobody delved into the colorful and sometimes dark worlds in his mind. It was lonely up there in his head. So much that sometimes the Hatter wondered if he would be alone like this for all time. His first Alice had rejected him and chosen another. The second one he had found, was already smitten with somebody else as well. Glancing in the big, partially broken mirror next to the tea party table, Tetch found himself agreeing with the Alice's. Who would want that man in the mirror? The one who even before his break had been too mentally perturbed to ask a stranger about the time. Likely he'd even have felt sorry for asking and taking away their time. Despite how unfairly people often treated him. There was no grudge against the world in his heart. All he wanted was a kindred soul. Or maybe at least somebody who could tolerate him and enjoy his quirks without asking after their reasons and trying to fix them. With delicate movements, Jervis Tetch put on a blonde wig and adjusted the headband a little. It was a bit lopsided. So was the eyeliner he had put on. No, it was not his goal to be a perfect one, at all. All in all, he was just a sad caricature of who he really wished to represent, as he slipped on the petticoat and dress, toed into the white socks, black patent shoes and sat on a mushroom chair in front of the mirror, holding a tea kettle and an empty cup. "Would you like some tea, Alice?" Was the unsteady question to his mirror image, over and over. There was no answer. Nor did he expect one to come back, truly. The Alice he saw in the mirror looked so sad that not even tea would help her. Slowly he started reciting part of the Epilogue to 'Through the Looking Glass' "Still she haunts me, phantomwise Alice moving under skies Never seen by waking eyes. Children yet, the tale to hear, Eager eye and willing ear, Lovingly shall nestle near. In a Wonderland they lie, Dreaming as the days go by, Dreaming as the summers die: Ever drifting down the stream -- Lingering in the golden gleam -- Life what is it but a dream?"
Too much talk talk talkity talk
Time to make special-tea and see where Wonderland takes me.

Behind insanity there is often passion [Apuzzlingnygma & youcancallmehatter + brucehatesbats tba]
["Fix him" was shining on the screen of the Hatter's phone. A smile was t taking over his face as he started packing an old doctor's case with some things he'd need to do so. Many people believed him to be a completely insane simpleton. But he was a mad genius. There was a distinct difference. In such as him being able to fix the damage that had been done by the bullet that had been put in Mr. Wayne's head. After all Jervis had studied brains for many years and he had studied Neurology to be a doctor before he had decided to go into research instead. After all one needed to have a great knowledge of the nervous system and brain if one was to manipulate minds. It was no easy task at all. But back to the present. With packed bags, he send a message bag to the young man whom he'd need to assist him. "Meet me at the hospital back entrance. I will be hiding in the shrubbery on the left of the door. You will need to smuggle me in there. Last time I almost got caught." With that send, he made his way to the meeting place and hid out in the bush as told. Hiding was something Jervis was rather good at, not just because of his size advantage. Mentally the Hatter was going through the surgery details again out of an old habit and nodded when he went through his mental check-list of needed tools again. And if all else fails, he'd borrow the hospital ones. While waiting for Puzzles, Jervis clicked his teeth in rhythm to an old tune in his head and moved back and forth on his feet.]
