the mike/kyle/jack dynamic is so funny. mike and Kyle were forged in plasma, given equal yet conflicting powers. they both created the other. they are destined to always be enemies, or else their universe will collapse. also there’s jack, he got a little bit of plasma but not enough to compare to mike and kyle, so he’s just kind of there to feel inferior and make it everyone else’s problem.

villains club sleepover where they try to prank call mighty mike. they quickly realize that no matter how many times they do it, he’ll pick up the phone, respond earnestly, and will be surprised at the punchline every time.

getting worked up about adult jack stanley again. he kills kyle– someone he’s known for years, someone who he’s traded blows with and invented with and maybe even loved. he kills him and regrets it as he’s doing it, tries to hold back. and then he’s sent back to the past with walter. walter locks him up and tortures him, and i can bet you anything that jack thinks he deserves it, that this is his punishment. and he rots away in a cell for years, until one day the door is wrenched open and he’s carried away. and jack wakes up, expecting to be hurt again, and there’s kyle. a twelve year old kyle, but kyle nonetheless. and he wants to know if he’s okay and how long he was trapped and jack doesn’t believe what he’s seeing but kyle says of course it’s me, how did you get so old? and jack laughs and laughs because kyle is alive and he can’t save the thirty year old kyle but he can save this one and maybe he can live again after all. and he says i was going to ask you how you got so young.
