I'm having some writer's block, so uh here have some more Vampire and Mad scientist Mac headcanons SFW+NSFW
Vampire Mac
Vampire Mac is a collector over the years, they have libraries full of books, scrolls, old text that have never seen the light of day. They also have some weird inventions that failed before more modern eras came along too!
Mac would vow, when they first met you, to not try and tempt you to drink your blood. Instead of satisfying their hunger they drink blood-infused tea, cook their meat on the more "rare" side, and leave you time to time so they won't be tempted. But when they do have your confirmed permission? It starts slow, maybe prick your finger, let them have a taste.
But when you both are comfortable, I think Mac would ask for your blood at a time of evening, why? To give your body time to relax and reproduce the blood taken. They are heavily considerate in this.
Mac is heavily knowledgeable in human anatomy, so they know where to take their bite, how much pressure, etc.
I think Mac would tease you a bit, make them situation incredibly hot and sensual, because it is! They are drinking your blood, of course their hands would touch and feel you up to distract you.
Sex with vampire Mac...interesting...you will be covered in bite marks, and letting them drink your blood while in the act? Ooh you know perfectly well that would drive Mac crazy.
I think something Mac would find hot is if when making out with you their fangs nip your lips. Then they can suck on your lower lip, tasting you and your blood.
When Mac goes down on you they are so careful and cautious the first time. They do not want to hurt you. But over time if you tell them to be a little more "thorough". They will.
Roni is a bat however. Mouse-bat? A lovely addition to yourself and the manor. Roni will perch themselves on your shoulder while you do anything. I think Mac can secretly use Roni to keep an eye on you while you are in the other half of the manor.
Speaking of bats, I do think Mac would have a bat form, and to tease you, they'd pop up in random places just to say how much they adore or miss you. And to scare you a teeny tiny bit. But if you hold bat Mac in your hands, oh they would fall a sleep so soon.
Vampire Mac likes your heartbeat. Their hearing is scary good and know your heartbeat within a crowd. Anywhere you are within (x) amount of feet from them, they can hear your heart beat. Mac would challenge the suns warmth within the shadows of your bedroom just to hear your heartbeat while you sleep.
Unless you like being a night owl, Mac will tell you to get some sleep. They know because of conflicting schedules and time, you two are not awake at the same time. But sometimes they break their own rule, making sure they aren't in immediate sunlight, within the shades and darkness of a room just to chat and talk with you.
Super tender and sensual moment with vampire Mac? Fucking them and sleeping with them in their coffin. They have one, and do want to have you in it. Unless you are claustrophobic or scared of tight spaces then they will keep it to themselves, but its just something they think about sometimes....just your so close together, they can heart your heart beating loudly in their ears, blood pumping...
Mad scientist Mac
You will be subjected (with consent) to some experiments. Mad scientist Mac is willing to do a lot to satisfy their quest for knowledge and if you as their beloved happily agree? You will be sitting on that lab table for hours.
Mad scientist Mac is still heavily smart and a genius, so their understanding of your body will be top tier. After the first few months, yeah they know you oh so well...maybe better than yourself.
Let's say you were their deceased lover, that they resurrected and made into a Frankenstein-like creation. Yes creation, never the term "monster" Mac sees you as perfection. So they'll never refer to your resurrection as "monster-like". Mac would be so overjoyed to have you back.
Mac would've had trial and error with resurrecting Roni, which is why they were desperate to do it for you after hearing of your passing. It took a few months and long hours but when your body was finally complete? Mac could not help but cry. You looked beautiful, just as beautiful as when they lost you.
As a Frankenstein-like creation, Mac will remind you constantly that you are the most beautiful and perfect thing in their eyes. They will be extremely cautious for the first few weeks. You're like a new born baby and need some time to get your brain and body to work as one. Mac would be so paitent and cheerful.
Every "failure" in the lab is some form of success to Mac. Well this did not turn out the way they wanted? Oh well now they have a cool invention to use somehow.
Imagine sex as a Frankenstein with Mad scientist Mac? Like you can literally remove your limbs and externalities. Imagine Mac using your hand to get off, they ask beforehand of course and the idea makes them roaring to go. Your hand can feel everything, how horny they are for you. But you can't hear or see them, just feel. (I think that is a perfect way to test your brain function).
Or letting Mac fuck your mouth while your head is detached from your body. To hump your face, or make you give then a blow job, the head would be crazy. Or fucking you with your head attached, giving you a different pov to look at it.
Forget mirror sex, you can place your head at the other side of the room, feeling and watching your body in pure ecstasy from their antics. Mac would find this so fucking hot.
And they do tell you. You can ask them to change anything about you. Since you know, its a suture away but take that information for what you want it to be :3.
They also would have a franken-weenie scenario with Roni too. So not only do you get a companion just similar to you. But now Mac gets to care for both of you.
"My love can you give me a hand." You literally give them your dominate hand. Mac will sigh and turn to look at you, pausing whatever they were doing. "I see we are being comedic this afternoon."
->writers block is slowly going away as I did this. Sorry for any spelling, I just had to make something.
so we all know how most people draw roni in the mad scientist au as a frankenstein, right? well, i prepose the idea of mac reviving him frankenweenie style: mac was so devastated when roni died that they went to dig him back up and that’s what lowkey kinda jump started mac to start messing around w the dead. okay. imma leave this here. roni’s #1 fan out.
I loooove what you did with that Frankenstein request but now I’m curious about how Roni and Y/N died. If you could write about that and add in some angst that would make my day ❤️.
I had so much fun continuing to write this AU. I had to think about it for a while, but I'm happy with the way it came out! (And their angst in here for you hehe)
Word count: 520
The lab hadn’t been the same since Roni.
Mac had found the mouse one morning, still and curled in the little nest of shredded paper by their keyboard. Heart failure, probably. Age. Natural, ordinary. But natural death didn’t feel ordinary when it was the only companion in a place where most things were built instead of born.
Mac buried Roni in the yard behind the lab, under a bit of loose soil and an old circuit board as a marker. Tthe silence after was unbearable. They kept catching themselves glancing toward the corner of the bench where Roni used to perch, little nose twitching at the hum of wires. The spot on Mac’s shoulder cold and empty without little Roni nuzzled into their neck.
The lab felt emptier.
And then…you were gone too.
It wasn’t supposed to happen. Mac had checked the safeguards twice, maybe three times. The induction coils were stable, the magnetic field balanced. The prototype was dangerous, yes, but calculable. Containable.
Until it wasn’t.
You’d only come close to set a cup of tea down, teasing Mac about forgetting to hydrate again. And then, flash. Metal screamed. A harmonic surge rattled the floor. By the time Mac turned, your body was…
Mac could still see it.
They’d screamed your name, dropped to their knees in the sparks and smoke. Their hands wouldn’t stop shaking, trying to hold pieces together that no longer fit. Blood smeared across their sleeves, your warmth fading faster than their brain could process.
“Shit..NO—please—” The words collapsed into static.
Mac pressed their forehead to yours, voice raw. “I can fix this. I can fix you.”
They said it again. And again. A mantra. A prayer.
But the truth was carved into the floor. They’d built a machine to extend life, to harness energy, and control it…and instead it had taken you from them.
The hours after blurred into a fever dream of calculations, diagrams spread in frantic hands, scalpels and thread. Mac wheeled between benches, grabbing whatever would make you whole again. Stitches in careful rows. Wires rerouted into veins. Gauze soaked red, replaced, soaked again.
They didn’t stop to eat. They didn’t stop to grieve. Grief was a luxury.
All the while, Roni’s absence throbbed at the edge of their mind. They’d lost the mouse to nature. They’d lost you to their hubris. Two failures stacked like corrupted files.
“I won’t lose you too,” Mac whispered to the cold air, palms slick with saline and blood. Their goggles fogged, but they didn’t take them off. Couldn’t.
You weren’t breathing anymore. But Mac refused to accept it.
The machines hummed behind them, electrodes lined up in neat rows. The cot was prepped, your body stitched together as if willing it back into place.
Mac’s fingers hovered over the switch. Trembling.
“I’ll bring you back,” they promised, voice shaking like broken glass. “I swear it. You’ll wake up. I can’t love without you…please….”
And in that moment, as they flipped the switch, pumping electricity with hope to bring life into your lifeless body, it felt like they were losing their mind.
At this point, we can start making a whole ass Minster Highesque AU with Date Everything, with all these crazy alternate versions of the characters, except they're all adults.
Vampire Amir
Frankenstein Volt and Eddie
Mad Scientist Mac
And then there's the canonical ghost Zoey.
The more AU versions of characters, the more that can be added!
(This was promised, and it is another- guess what? Angst, yup! My apologies for the delay, I am slowly trying to get things back in order. So please take this as appreciation and compensation for the time loss.)
-> Basically Mad scientist Mac au angst, warning slight gore, dismembering of the human body, Mac spiraling. Spoilers: you died! Angst with no comfort. My favorite thing to write but never to read. But enjoy! Also read @yourfriendlyplunger 's angst on mad scientist Mac too! They have some good shit :3 -> 2.08k
Mac hovered over the examination table, their glasses foggy, condensation mixed with their sweat dripped down the sides of their face. Their arms were tired, sore beyond relief, their fingers burned. The tingles of pain were memorized from countless hours of that repetitive motion. The nimbleness needed for these tasks will haunt their fingers, like blood-stained keys on a piano and its maestro.
Mac panted, their breath coming in short raspy breaths, their eyes stung with the tears that were ripped from their gut. The lights within the room flickered, sterile hospital-like lights flickering in and out of the cold room. The air was blank, cold, and dry. Their lungs were working overtime to take in more air, but their mind felt like none of it was enough.
Their vision was blurry, the tears in their eyes blinded them from the truth laying on the table. Mac’s mouth felt dry, their throat was closing on them, their words choking them, but the truth was much worse. Their teeth chattered within their mouth, their panting breaths settled but never calmed.
The overstimulating sound of their heartbeat within their own ears was enough to distract them from the face that rested peacefully below them. They secretly wished some of the loud noises from their heart was equally shared with the body below them. That even a small spark to life could coax for the trivial failures pursuing them in this expedition of forbidden knowledge.
Mac stripped themselves of their gloves, their body shaking as their body was catching up to their initial reaction. A low buzz within the room, sparked with electricity was the background noise to this whirlwind. Their hands stained cupped their face, an unusual feeling burned in their chest. The tears flowed from the sides of their face as they raised their head to stare back at the ceiling.
It was not enough.
How could this not be enough.
Trial, after trial, failure, after failure. They did everything to correct the mistakes taken to fix this. The solution was right in front of them! What else were they missing? They had the correct voltage, they had the correct water content, all the body parts, organ systems, tissue layers, cellular contents perfectly aligned. The hours they spent hovered over a petri dish to fix any minute or microscopic details that were amiss.
What else were they missing?
Mac’s voice, dry, tired, let out a pathetic laugh. One not of joy, it never was these days, but out of failure and pity. Of course this was not enough.
Another mistake must be corrected for this to be fixed, a solution so close, they could feel it. They lowered their hands, their staring contest with the ceiling has a winner. Mac repositioned themselves in their wheelchair, pulling the examination table to be lowered, the body resting on top of it, the upper half covered by a thin white cotton cloth.
Their hands were clasped; Mac stared at the specimen.
Now that they think about it.
Your smile was off.
Their eyes narrowed.
Cosmetics were much more important than some divisions of function at the moment, they just need signs of brain activity and an electromagnetic stimulus to simulate other functions. But your appearance mattered most.
If this does not look like you, then what else is there to be a spectacle?
Sure, Mac could logically argue, making life from a deceased corpse, limit decomposition, and preserving as much life that as left within you is a scientific feat on its own. But what would be the point if this being created did not simulate you? If mannerisms, natural grandeur and beauty were not recognizable?
Their eyes trailed over the body, slow, to take in an initial scope. They were finding more impurities. Another false laugh escaped their lips, quickly Mac withdrew the white cloth from the corpse.
Their laugh echoed against the walls, bouncing back into their own ears and mind.
“It’s not them! It doesn’t even look like you!” Their voice shakily whispered. Mac placed their hands onto the table, the cool metal felt sharp against their fingertips. They cursed under their breath, how symbolic?
The obsession, the drive, the nights of loneliness. The fears swirling within their mind that all of this is for naught, were true.
The body laying on this table, no matter how much they could hold an image of you next to it. It was not the original. This simulation, while close, was not good enough. A testament to Mac’s reliance on their own “best interest” and personal library of knowledge being much less than expected.
How did they manage this? Their laughter mixed with tears. How the hell did they manage this? To fail on such a degree.
It is a law within any form of experimentation; we all learned it within school. To test a hypothesis, it is a constant to double check within the original question. Not a “how will it work?
They did not account how you would look. They even had your picture from your graduation on their phone as a constant reminder for goodness’s sake! How did they fail to make you look similar? It was your corpse, they stopped decomposition, were they that focused to lose the initial sense of why they were doing it?
Mac leaned back in their chair, their body felt tired from the emotions hammering into their chest.
Perhaps a break. A small moment to collect their thoughts, replenish any missing energy, and to take a moment to breathe non-fumigated air and possibly toxic fumes of bodily and embalming fluids.
Mac, as much as they would have loved to back track, and back pedal to see what mistakes they could have made along the way for this discovery, they needed sustenance, rest, and a break. Roni is going to need their stimulus check, and some synthetic food for their augmented digestion.
So, they left the laboratory, leaving behind the chaos, the broken surgical tools, the tiles littered with gauze and faint pink stains. The broken faucet leaks droplets into the sink below it. The noise felt like needles dropping onto Mac’s scalp, so leaving was perhaps the best.
After a moment of realization, and eating their daily nourishment, Mac sat at their desk. They quickly organized everything to its place; the noise of the mess bothered them. But not as much as the idea of their last test failing.
They double checked everything number, every conversion, every measurement and weight needed for the electrical stimulation. They checked the embalming fluids, the synthetic blood they made and the injection sites, they double checked every single stitch and suture. What the hell was the problem.
Mac looked at their notes, written hastily but neat.
The book that rested beside them, a book on life they picked up at the local library for their research. The inspiration behind this whole project was from a book anyways, why not find information and secrets of knowledge anywhere. Mac opened the random bookmark they had left behind on a page.
Their eyes scanned the page, the wall of text was familiar, yes they’ve read this whole book when finding ideas of how to resurrect the living from the dead. The book forewarned the dangers of messing with the universes “divine” principle that humans can give and take life, but never to correct either with the intent on fixing either.
As Mac reread the information, one keynote became apparent. Or two.
For one, this book heavily warned against any “amalgamations against the laws of nature” by repeating an idea Mac already detested, humans do not get to play God in the act of giving out miracles.
The second, which bothered Mac more, was the lack of “soul” that could come as a price of these experiments.
Yes, you can lack a “soul” and still be human, yes, you can be a living breathing person and still lack the internal essence that makes you so. As their eyes read further, a specific quote from the book stuck out like a sore thumb.
“For all we know, even if life can be returned to one beyond the grave, what tells that the life in question will be the same? How can you decide that it will be the same, that the normalcy will be reinstated.”
Mac stared at this statement for much longer than they would have wanted to admit.
The more they reread the quote, the more they even thought deeper into the book, it came like a sudden wave. One that crashes over the shoreline and wains before reaching the sands below their feet.
They placed their face into their palms.
This was more than failure.
What was all this worth? To bring a moment of joy back into their life, to have you in their arms again? Did they truly think that you would be the same.
They never accounted for memory loss, motor function, speech impediments or lack of speaking at all. All Mac wanted was you.
All they wanted was to have you again, to enjoy their life again, for everything before your death to return to them.
But now? But was that dream a reality?
No. No it was not.
“Be logical, and resolute with yourself…” they muttered, the tears leaving their eyes yet again.
When did they become this depressed? This optimistic in an idea that had no concrete answer. They studied for half a decade to earn their degree, but it seems in a fit of desperation for the normalcy you gave them, the love you gave them to be returned, Mac threw it all away.
They were overjoyed when Roni came back to them, but now that they saw it, Roni was only dead for 3 weeks, before being resurrected. A period so thin that compared to the 8 months since the declaration of your death? Absurd.
Mac’s shoulders shook, their breath wheezed, as their word choked in the air, they lowered their head to the desk, their hands pulling at their hair.
“No…. this…it was all plausible…all of it was…”
Every painstaking hour was gone.
Every moment of sleep, time, research, gone to shit.
Sobs echoed in their office, wails and cries of “why”. Why did you leave them too quickly, was it so selfish to only want you back?
Why did you have to leave such an influence on them, that the impact of your death would send them to this point. Why did you leave them like this? Was your love for them that strong that Mac had deteriorated before your memory.
There were so many questions, so many answers that were laid in front of them. Even if the experiment worked, even if they did have you back…would you even want them? Would you see past their love and see the problems underneath the surface. Would you demand your eternal slumber to be returned to you?
Mac glanced at the picture that rested on their desk, the image that soured their heart, but lit a fire in their mind.
It was just you, enjoying one of your favorite moments together.
A simple but silly memory crashed into Mac’s life and caused a whirlwind of emotions and long nights with it. They pulled the photo closer, the frame ahs a thin layer of dust upon its glass.
Your smile was a sight for anyone’s eyes; your laughter could make songbirds jealous. But the life you have Mac, no matter how small, was enough to last them ages. Or so they thought.
Now look at them.
You possibly wouldn’t want to.
Here they are trying to create life from death, not hypothesizing that perhaps, wherever you are. You are happier there. Without Mac. Perhaps this is what that book meant, what all those books meant in the study of this.
Life before the grave will never be the same after. Specifics aside, Mac will never have the same you, the same [name] they loved before. Instead, a husk, a shell of a person remains to them. Mac pulled the picture frame to their chest and held it tight, a silent plea of forgiveness for the soul.
“I’m sorry…. I’m so sorry…”
But to no one’s surprise, there was not a ghostly remark, memory, or even fantasy to comfort them in this. The soul died along with the original. That is the final lesson.
