(english) Here’s my first radio interview. What a weird thing to me beeing exposed. I did and I still do my art in my room. It’s like an infinite introspection. Of course I decided by myself trying to live by art and I exposed my work before my first exhibition but everything is being serious now. I’m an artist for the others and I feel like I wanna do anything else.
This photo of Gernaine a 25 year old noma patient was taken during an assignment to document the situation for people in need of surgical care in Madagascar. Noma is an acute gangrenous infection affecting the face and requires cranio-facial surgery beyond the scope of a normal Operation Smile mission. She has been placed on the waiting list of the World Care program for patients requiring complex surgeries with longer recovery times. www.lightfootphoto.com
Lavasoa Dwarf Lemur Rediscovered
Madagasacar, is the place of the recent discovery of a type of dwarf lemur that has been previously thought to be extinct. Now, there are estimations of only 50 left.
Lemurs, are primates that are found in only Madagascar, found this creature. They have found this lemur in 3 different forests and are naming Lavasoa dwarf lemur.
Scientists believe that they have been tricked into thinking they were extinct because of their secretive lifestyle, and being nocturnal with living up on top of the forest canopy, filling their time with hiding in burrows or hollowed out trees for several months of the year.
