5: Book/series I reread?

I really love to reread, so I think I’ve probably reread almost all of the books on my “favorites” shelf! The books I’ve read over and over without getting tired of are Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore and the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.

6: Aliens or ghosts?

I’ve always been really into ghosts! Aliens just never clicked with me.

12: The question you ask new friends to get to know them better?

I ask for their most and least favorite books/movies/songs/etc and why they like or don’t them! I find that you can really get to know a person by knowing and understanding what they do or don’t enjoy.

13: Favourite word?

Chandelier always comes to mind when I get this question. I generally love words that are derived from the French language (champagne, macabre, espionage, etc.)

aww thank you!! i wanted a way to portray my daydreams in a way that people would be able to understand and maybe feel them like i do, so i thought i’d turn them into “movies” haha i hope it worked. i’m really glad you like them!!

Atmosphere and milky way :)

atmosphere: describe your favorite scene to daydream.— i can’t say if it’s my *favorite* but the scenario i go to most often is a pretty boring one actually lol. it’s just me and a dozen or so paras gathered together and just talking. about anything and everything. it calms me when i’m angry cause i can vent with them. and it makes me happy cause my paras always make me laugh.— a different one i really really enjoy is taking on “quests”. people in fantasy worlds need heroes to help them and my paras and i go on adventures together to solve mysteries or retrieve stolen items or rescue people from villains. it’s not one scene, but it’s my favorite kind of plot to daydream.

milky way: linear daydreamer or nah?— linear!! Castle is a linear daydream that’s been going about seven years, and before that i had one that lasted about two years but i ended up dropping it cause Castle took up so much of my time and i ended up favoring it anyway. but i keep smaller, temporary universes on the side as well as just a bunch of random scenarios thrown around here and there, and i’ve found myself starting to pick up the old universe again lately so i might end up having two linear daydreams simultaneously soon

9. Least favorite trope to write.— hmm. i’m not sure. well, i’m getting really tired of the “chosen one” archetype but i can’t seem to rid myself of it

13. How do you deal with writers block?— by reading a LOT. usually poetry. also listening to music that falls in the aesthetic of whatever i’m trying to write, but that usually ends up with me daydreaming. or i just take a break and do other stuff for a while, like sketching or making edits, until the block eventually wears off.

29. Who do you write for?— my self. my younger self, actually. she wanted so badly to be known for something. she created stories like her life depended on it. and my slightly-older-than-younger-self was intent on being published. i’m working to make their dreams come true. and my best friend made me promise never to give up writing, or else she threatened she would too, which would mean a lot of rich genius gone to waste, and we absolutely cannot have that happening. and also for the future readers who might enjoy what i write. i’m writing to make them happy and to give them safe places to escape to when they need.

4. Do you have writing habits or rituals?— hmm. not that i can think of. sometimes i indulge in my maladaptive daydreaming habits to further flesh out my worlds and characters, which is basically me listening to playlists through headphones and pacing around my room in a trance for hours at a time, daydreaming scenarios and concept art i could draw. then i usually end up back at my keyboard with a new spark of inspiration.

10. Pick a writer to co-write a book with and tell us what you’d write about.— my best friend @amaranthinesmoke (y'all should follow, she’s super cool) and i are actually working together on a badass story about an ex-villain based on our favorite hero/villain tropes

6. Do you keep any plants?

Unfortunately, no q_q. I love flowers and I want a garden full of flowers, since I enjoy gardening, but unfortunately, I don’t have the money (or skills) to keep any plants. The only plants I “have” are the ones that belong to my mother.

7. Do you name your plants?

I don’t name the plants I have. Naming things is such a struggle...
