Authors note: Hey guys it’s my first time writing for Kiara! I hope you enjoy it. It took me a while to write! Feel free to request!<3
Kiara stared at her figure in her body length mirror that stood directly in front of her. The mirror was huge, you could see your body perfectly in it leaving nothing out of eyesight, it was wide enough to basically see the whole room by just looking through the large object.
Kiara ran her hands down her body, her hands stoping at her waist. Her hands tugging down lightly on the fabric to help it fit perfectly on her hips.
Kiara gaze on her reflection never dropped, never once. It was as if she was having a staring contest with herself, her brown eyes scanned her body through the mirror as she took in her own appearance for what felt like the one hundredth time just that evening.
Her hair was pulled back into a bun a flower crown covering most of her head, her dress was stained a light purple colour along with her shoes, long dangling earrings hanging down her earlobes slightly pulling them down with there weight and a necklace wrapped lightly around her neck. The necklace. The necklace had been gifted to her by the most important person in her life. You. You had gifted it to her for your guys second year anniversary it was a family heirloom it had been passed around for generations. It had started when your great-great-great-great-great grandfather Thomas had gifted it to his wife Rosette, it had costed him an arm and a leg, quite not literally of course…
But after you had gifted her the special gift she had felt a little insecure about her 'lame' gift which was, a pack of unlimited love coupons and two matching pairs of bracelets that she had made herself specially for you two to wear. If she had known you had prepared to give her something so important to you and your family she would have gotten something a lot better for you but when she had given you your gifts you reassured her that her gifts were perfect and that you appreciated everything she had gotten you and you were being honest like you always were with her.
Ever since that day she had never taken it off and never intended to and even though her gift was 'poor' as she called it you had not taken the bracelet off either. It was one single night that had brought them both something they would carry with them.
Kiara was torn from her thoughts as her mother walked into her large room, a large smile covering the older woman's face. Her smile never fell as she told the girl that you were here to pick her up.
As she heard the news a wide smile took over the younger girls face, even larger then the older woman's.
Kiara muttered a quick and quiet "ok" before turning her body back to her mirror checking over herself one last time before making her way out of her room and down her stairs. With each step she took down the staircase her heart pumped faster and faster as if it was trying and failing to pump out of her chest.
When she reached the end of the staircase she was met with a beautiful sight.. you.
You looked gorgeous.
You looked like a goddess to Kiara and she had to tell herself everyday that you weren't one but very much the closest to one.
You were wearing a light pink dress that had rolls around the chest area, the dress had a slip at the right leg of the dress going to your mid thigh, you were wearing white almost see through high heels, your hair was down and in curls, you were wearing a small gold necklace and the final touch to your outfit was the other half of Kiara's matching bracelets.
Sure Kiara's parents were strict and didn't really have a good relationship with the Pogues but they had slightly calmed down and they had grown to love you even though your status. You weren't a Pogues nor a Kook you were just..there.
You were not rich but you were not poor, you were stable.
You had a great relationship with the Pogues but you had an okay relationship with the kooks only getting along with a few.
Some kooks saw you as just a Pogue even though you were wealthier then any of the Pogues on the cut, but you really didn't mind it as you saw yourself as a Pogue. You would much rather hang out with them then any stuck up kook.
Kiara's parents loved you not just because how happy you made Kiara but how respectful you were to everyone, always ready to help out, bring cookies or baked goods over for them every time you would visit.
They had kinda taken you under their wing as you really didn't have the best relationship with your parents but who does? Your father was orthodontist that worked out of state so you barely got to see him and your mother was a drunk that spent nearly half of the money your father sent back on alcohol to feed her unhealthy addictions.
Leaving just enough money to stay afloat so you picked up a job at a local ice cream shop that paid surprisingly well as nearly everyone on the island has visited the place at least two times this week and to say it was always packed was an understatement.
That gave you a lot of spending money that you usually use to buy things for the Pogues, like treats, beer, weed, food, soap (because the boys NEED it) and you sometimes help them pay the difference in there bills which they were all very thankful for.
Kiara let out a nervous chuckle as she had realized she had been in a zoned out type state as she stared at the beautiful girl in front of her.
When Kiara walked down the last step and made her way over to you, you felt everything around to two stop, you were in shock.
"She looked like an angel that just fell from heaven.
She looked just like a dream.
My dream.
"You look beautiful-"
"You look gorgeous"
Both of the girls said at the same time, both holding a shy smile on their faces as soon as they realized what had just happened. It wasn't rare for them to talk at the same time as they would always do it along with finishing each other's sentences, it became a thing with them, some people found it annoying but the majority found it adorable.
"You look beautiful, Y/N." Kiara's mother Anna complimented you as she wore a smile and looked between you and her daughter with a sweet look.
"Thank you, Mrs. Carrera." You thanked her with a warm smile, feeling slightly more relaxed by her sweet words.
"Call me Anna, Sweetheart."
"Well girls shouldn't you get going your gonna be late." Kiara's father Mike cut in as he looked at his watch with raised eyebrows.

The teenage girls were sat and a table at around 7pm that night with a drink inside each of their hands.
"Hey, Baby?" You spoke pulling the dark haired girl's eyes from the dance floor to you.
She hummed at you to show that she was paying attention before turning back to where her eyes were previously.
"You wanna dance?" You started, smiling to herself when you realized you had got her full attention, she whipped her head around angling her body in her hard chair to face you, a wide smile pulling on her face her cheeks squished up, her eyes crinkling slightly from the pressure of her cheeks.
She nodded quickly, getting ready to stand from her place at the small table, but a hand stopped her before she had the chance.
She turned her head back to you with a confused look, wondering why you had stopped her from standing.
"But I want a kiss first." You finished. Kiara's smile was brought right back to her face as she leaned over to you your lips connected with a quick peck before she pulled away and began to stand trying to make her way to the dance floor to get the dance she was promised but was once again pulled back down by a very familiar hand.
She didn't even have time to speak before you had pulled her back for a real kiss.
Your lips connected quickly, moving in sync. Your soft red lips connected with her light purple ones, causing your lip sticks to mix together slightly.
They kissed for a few seconds before they were pulled away by an arm wrapping around your shoulders after the interruption you both looked up.
"Excuse you, can't you see that we're do-" Your words were cut off when you realized who had interrupted you guys, "JJ?"
"What's up, lovers from another mother..wait-" JJ started his ramble but was quickly interrupted by a smiling Kiara.
"What are you doing here, JJ."
"What does it look like I'm doing, Kie? I'm waitering." He replied to her in a know it all voice as if it was the most obvious thing, which it kinda was. As he spoke he pointed at his waitering outfit that looked good on him just slightly out of place with the cut and black eyes he was wearing.
"Okay but why are you-" You started but was cut off again by an excited JJ.
"There she is. Gotta go ladies, catch ya later." He stated before he left the girls, confused but not surprised by JJ's off behaviour.
"Who's 'she'?" Kiara asked looking around the crowded place trying to calculate where their lost friend - who had practically been swallowed by the crowd- had wandered off to.
With out muttering a word you all but yanked Kiara to the loud and crowded dance floor, one of the only places she wanted to be right now.
You wrapped one of your arms around her waist and you other hand was passed lightly on her shoulder as you pulled her impossibly closer to you.
The smile on your guys faces were wide the night was still young, gleams of laughter surrounded the girls as they continued to rock back and forth and sway to the music. The feeling of euphoria had already taken over the two girls, pure and raw happiness, the moment was perfect, everything was perfect. But nothing is truly perfect is it?
You let out a loud laugh at something Kiara had said throwing your head back, Kiara had let out a louder laugh at your antics, she looked around still laughing and having the time of her life but her joyful laughter had began to died down as she caught sight of the multiple eyes that were trained on the two young girls.
Some of the guest that were either at a table or on the dance floor gave annoyed looks at the 'unnecessarily' loud laughs that fell from the girls lips, there annoyed looks soon either turned to pure disgust or just pure boredom. Most of the disgusted looks came from older women or even older men and the rest came from annoyed teenagers who had nothing better to do then judge.
Kiara gave as many of them as she could the dirtiest look she could muster up, before she could give them anymore she was spun around in a twirl by the happy girl in front of her. Kiara's smile slowly grew back just not as wide as it previously was, still slightly on edge by all of the eyes that were still burning daggers at the two love struck teens.
As the eyes continued to get more intense and people started to whisper, you started to notice everyone's weird behaviour, you looked around with a confused look on your face, before it fell as you understood why everyone was gossiping and giving you guys death stares.
You were finally enjoying yourself after weeks of working your ass off to pay for the dress and heels that you were wearing. The wide smile you were once wearing had finally made an appearance after two weeks now had vanished and was now long gone.
This was your escape from life, tonight was your and Kiara's night to shine and spend as much time as you possibly could together, because you had to go out of Outerbanks to visit your father in LA for a few weeks tomorrow, and now it was ruined just because people couldn't keep there opinion to yourselves.
Before you could think of anything else a man walked over to you two, he was wearing a suit with a bored look on his face but as soon as he neared us it was replaced with a wide but very fake smile.
"Ladies, we are gonna have to ask you to leave." He asked with a slightly sad tone but this time it was very really as if he really was saddened that we had to leave. At least not everyone here was bad. You thought.
"Excuse you." Kiara gave him the dirtiest look and if looks could kill that man would be six feet under.
"I'm sorry, for the intrusion but we've had a lot of complaints so you're gonna have to leave. Either on your own or we're gonna have to escort you guys out."
"You can't talk to us that way. We're members of this club, I'll have your ass." Her outburst had gained the attention of everyone at the service even those who hadn't even batted an eye at the young couple. "You know we could sue you right? That's literally discrimination."
"Kiara stop it's fine. Okay? It's lame anyway." You cut off her rant turning around to look at everyone that had their eyes on you two, "I would rather be anywhere else then here with you homophobic, and plastic people that think there top shit but news flash people.. you're not. You guys are nothing without your dirty money." You spoke louder so everyone could hear you, after that you were both practically dragged out of the party for just being in love.
Neither of you spoke much as you drove her home keeping your eyes in front of you and your hands to yourself as you focused on the road you dropped her off at her house with just a hand squeeze, but that wasn't enough for Kiara as she pulled your face so you could look at her as she pulled you in for a kiss but it was only a quick peck as you saw a light turn on in the Carrera home.
You had sent her into her house with a tiny smile and a wave. You had gone home that night with tears in your eyes as you fiddled with the bracelet that Kiara had gifted her. That was yours and Kiara's time but it had to be interrupted by nosey people.
Why can't everything be perfect?
Why can't it be just like a dream?

New York Raining
_______ x reader
warning: none
Author's note: I originally was going to make this another song inspired fic, but as I started writing, I switched it up. This time i'm making the love interest nameless so it can be whoever you want it to be. It's a really short blurb, I know. I may make a part two, I don't know yet. Until then, please enjoy this read.
He introduced himself at a bus stop. He seemed a little too happy for someone who had just gotten his suit soaked. He presented his most precious smile as the creases around his eyes intensified. He stood straight and firm, not a worry in the world. Stating his name loudly enough for you to hear him over the rain, you couldn't help but to smile. You told him your name and a pick up line flowed off his tongue. "A unique name for a unique woman", He said. A twinkle shimmered in his eye. Though, you never believed it to be true- love at first sight. In this moment, you couldn't help but to ask yourself just if it might.
The sound of the bus slowing down became louder as it came to a stop. You looked back and smiled at the man before getting on the bus. On the way home, he ran through your mind. You pulled your notepad from your purse, writing down his name. You forgot that you didn't even get his number, not thinking in time. Scolding yourself, you lean your head against the window and sigh. "If it is destiny, I'll see him again someday," You think to yourself and close your eyes.
