Today, I'm doing a very intentional shop update, featuring some crystals that I am personally in need of and using right now. If you've watched my igtv you may know that I have been dealing with some pretty hard things that have knocked me back, so much so that I have started a GoFundMe. (That link is in my bio with a full explanation). What has been hardest is how much this has impacted my feelings of self worth and my confidence. Unfortunately, I haven't spoken to anyone recently who hasn't taken some hits. It's why I am continually being open about where I am. It's work, sometimes, to remember that your value is intrinsic, untouchable by outside forces. Rhyolite (pictured) is a new crystal I am working with, as it has a reputation for helping the wearer remember that. The shop update will include new rhyolite (already listed), sodalite, amethyst, rose quartz, rhodonite and jaspers. I was searching around for something simple for a video chat, wanting to look cute without looking like I was doing too much (ironic given how much work I was putting into it) and realized...some of my simple brass pieces don't show up on camera! So I made these, was late but given how cute the earrings and I were, totally feel it was a productive use of time. Just a quick video of me making a necklace. I prefer to eyeball the length because it's a great way to avoid making necklaces whose pendants fall right at the beginning of/between your cleavage. (A small but consistently annoying problem with a lot of "long" necklaces). I was never a fan of green until I moved to town full of it. I didn't know how many shades could exist in a small patch of leaves, that some places could SMELL emerald green after a night of rain or how it can remind you of life, of fresh starts and regeneration.
