Finally catching up on iZombie and this scene really hit home. I've always felt a little bit like a conspiracy nut but there's no way big pharma would actively look for a cure if they thought they were close because they make too much money off of diabetes supplies. It's not like we have a choice, even if it is just insulin, that's expensive enough. All these cures they talk about being the next big thing just seem to fade away and I believe it's because of big pharma holding onto their cashcows.
