Is it just me or is the way Sanyal Saab talks to Jaskirat always so soft? The tone and the mannerisms? Like you feel the underlying care? And Jaskirat too, the way he softens around him is so sweet.

*An old entry in my journal from earlier this year when I handled my 'what i watch' journal manually. Although the review is brief and somewhat lacking in hindsight, I want this to be a part of my record here.*

What a spectacular movie! From the plot, to the direction, to the acting. THE ACTING! Goddamn. It was creepy. it was scary. It had us on the edge of our seats. Goosebumps-inducing creepy! I don't think I will rewatch but that is only because the movie is actually horrifying and scary.
Overall, 10/10, on the execution of everything.
Shalini and Madhavan in Kadhal Sadugudu from Alaipayuthey (Tamil, 2000)
What your fave Mani sir's male character says abt you. Pt 1
Karthik (Alaipayuthey) :
Character: You are person who really really loves life. You are carefree, outgoing, and insanely talented. You would go to the ends of the Earth for the people you love, but your wrath is just as extreme. You have communication issues you need to work on. Though you often sometimes do or say things that might be hurtful, you regret it immediately, and try to fix your mistakes. You are a true romantic, and guys and/or girls swoon over you. Love Language: Physical touch. (You definitely are a sucker for forehead and neck kisses, and hand holding) Your idea of a typical date: Date a restaurant / picnic in a quiet, private garden while petting dogs or cats
Adi (O Kadhal Kanmani)
Character : You are either the most happy-go-lucky or the most serious person one can meet. Most of the times, you are the therapist friend of the group. Your smile lights up the world, and your anger can shake the ground (mostly, it doesn't get that far) You are mostly pookie personified, and are described as "extremely cute" . Love Language: Physical touch, gifts. Your idea of a typical date : A long drive with ARR's or HJ's or SPB's songs blasting on top volume / Art date
Rishi (Roja)
Character: Old school person whose heart is stuck in the 60s to 90s. The most reliable and trustworthy person you'll meet. Sort of a people pleaser, and are ready to sacrifice anything for the people they love. Your moral compass is accurate and not only are you righteous and follow your own path, you inspire others to do so too, even if you don't realise it. A natural leader, though you aren't that big of an extrovert. Love language : words of affirmation, acts of service Your idea of a perfect date: A movie date in a local cinema, watching MGR, Savitriamma, NTR or ANR's films, as you share popcorn from the same tub and randomly intertwine your fingers / cooking for them at your home. Tell me if you want Part2!!
Alai Payuthy (2000)
I can't be the only one who has watched the movie over 50 times, hoping for a different end.
Rajeev was unquestionably the better guy.
