Shoumetsu Toshi (Studios: Madhouse)
I was looking for something dark so I'm going to try this one after watching the trailer
One day, a city suddenly disappears. Takuya, a professional by-the-contract courier and lone wolf, meets Yuki, the only survivor from the city's extinction. The two rely on a message from Yuki's father, who was heard to be missing, and head toward the disappeared city, Lost.
However, unexpected obstacles strike before the pair, with the reality especially shocking for Yuki. Before them are the feelings of those left behind, a mysterious group manipulating in the shadows, and unveiling the hidden conspiracy. Takuya and Yuki, who both were initially strangers, would deepen their bond during the journey and unravel the mystery of the Lost city.

Why was Light’s ideology wrong ?
I need help from other Death Note fans about why was Light’s overall ideology was consider wrong by L and the other people who were trying to catch Light. Even though Light was power-hungry, cold, calculating, and he will sacrifice anyone who stand in his way with ease (even innocent people like his sister), his results when he was using the Death Note was spectacular. It’s been awhile since I read or watch the Death Note series, but if I recall it was revealed that while Light was using the Death Note crime rates was cut down by seventy percent (world wide) and there was barely any wars; so what’s the problem with Light’s ideology ? The only answers I came up with on why L and the others have a problem with Light’s ideology is that his (1) Light’s method was a fear tactic, (2) Light is playing god, (3) and Light will most likely get worse to the point start killing other innocent people who’s only crime is vocally disapproving Light’s methods.
But I can easily debunk my theories and (1) say that people need fear something or else they’ll commit crimes and harm others, even real life and other fictional governments they have laws and repercussions if people break the laws. But the thing is that Light only killed people who commit serious crimes and if someone killed someone out of self-defense or accidentally, he wouldn’t kill them. (2) Again real or fictional governments play god as well, someone always have to make judgment and decision for another person’s action and they also play a complete and permanent role when it comes to the fate of the other person. The only problem with Light playing god is that it’s a single person making all the decision,I know there might be some real life governments have a judicial system that is similar to Light’s but it doesn’t mean it’s right. (3) I can’t base the reason why Light’s ideology is wrong by my assumption what he might be in the near future; it doesn’t prove anything. So I need help to see why is Light is wrong and what angle was the creator was going for when he created L and the other opposing Light’s methods.
