//What’s your opinion on the Beetlejuice animated series? Is it worth watching? I gotta admit I’m tempted.

    -- HONESTLY? Yes. It’s got a very stereotypical formula to it. Lydia and Beej are friends. She summons him. He makes things difficult. She and Beej have to clean up his mess. But it’s full of puns and good one liners. I might be a bit biased as Beetlejuice is one of my favorite things, cartoon or movie wise. But I think it’s genuinely worth a watch. It doesn’t have all of the vulgarity of the movie because... it’s made for kids. But there are so many dirty jokes thrown in. My personal favorite being when Beej is decapacitated in an episode, someone off handedly says ‘good head is so hard to find these days’. And for that to be in a kid’s cartoon? Never fails to make me laugh.

    It’s so zany and weird but I genuinely feel like it’s a good romp. I know a lot of the episodes are on youtube or they at least used to be. But I know they’re lingering around on the internet somewhere. The only thing I wish it had done differently was INCLUDE the Maitlands because.... like, they were the main characters in the movie and they just don’t exist in this scenario. Which kinda bums me out.

   This incarnation of Beej isn’t exactly like his movie counterpart but it doesn’t make him any less likable. He’s still gross, little sleazy-- but he’s good. For.... the most part. And as another side note, I FRANKLY think the cartoon’s intro (both of them) is one of the best I’ve ever seen. It’s SO much fun. I really do recommend it!

His expression softens as Castor speaks, his ears drooping a little as he pleased with him to stay with him for the night. It wasn’t the first time the two of them had spent the night sleeping next to each other. There were times when he too had nightmares, though most of them tended to surround the night he was turned against the people dear to him, how he turned into a true demon beast. He placed the cup on a nearby shelf before placing a hand on his.... partner’s shoulder. A soft but smile grows on his face, it was... important to him that Castor slept. His health meant much more to him than his own. 

“No problem at all. I could use a nap myself honestly.” The last few nights weren’t too kind to him either, but Castor didn’t need that on his shoulders right now, not while he was like this. As if on cue, Jecra tilted his head back and yawned a bit, enough to expose his sharp teeth for a moment before forcing himself alert. 

“Do you at least want to take a short rest? From how things are looking I doubt without that coffee you’d last the rest of the day like that, and no, I’m not letting you have anymore of that stuff. Its bad for your heart.” He wasn’t sure if Castor was going to ask for it back anyway, but he was going to make sure all of his bases were covered regardless.

[Meta Knight V3:] Oh is someone distraught? Good. His eyes flash pink with amusement. Nightmare can't see his face under the mask, but he's grinning right now.

Nightmare doesn’t remember what pink means. But it distresses him more, because the uh.. Idea he’s getting in his head made him very, very, very uncomfortable.

“...Why are you looking at me like that?”

Nightmare only has hatred and obsession for Meta Knight, nothing more. Pink was.. A, uh.. Well, see.. Pink had certain connotations, and, well.. It was.. A bit unsettling. 

Not a bit. Really.

Nightmare’d shuffled a bit away from him, actually.

“Don’t tell me pink is what I think it is.”

Meta Knight watched coolly as the other bounced from foot to foot. He’d never met someone so animated before, but then again it had also been quite some time since he’d last seen a stranger pass through town. At least a year or so. Stars only knew that Meta Knight himself didn’t do very much traveling nowadays.

He inclined his head somewhat in a small nod of respect.

“You may call me... Meta Knight. And, you are?”

-Marx grins before doing a small showy spin.-

“I’m Marx! This star’s one and only jester~! Nice to meet you Meta Knight! Hey, think you could show me around more after getting something eat? I’ve never been here before! Don’t recall ever seeing it on the big map! How small is this place? What was this place called again? Cappy Town? Does anything ever happen here?”

-The jester resumes bouncing as he starts asking questions. He doesn’t bother to pause to let Meta Knight answer any of them, just asking aloud. Looking around some more Marx notices that a good number of the people were Cappies. Excluding himself and the knight it seemed like everyone was.-

“Wait, is everyone here Cappies? Heeheehee! Is that why this is called Cappy Town? Hilarious! Hahaha! The guy who named this place must’ve had a great thinking cap! Must’ve been a real capper! Heehee! They better get into the ship industry because with ideas like that one no ship is gonna capsize!”

-Marx cackles gleefully as he pokes fun at the name of the town, and possibly the Cappies.-

🍃🏹➳ Well, at least the guy knew how to show some hospitality to someone who saved his life, despite having been a total brat about it during the whole process. Huntress leaned in slightly to keep eye-level with the small king (though, now that he was back on his planet, he seemed to be the biggest one here) and spoke.

       “Oh, yeah. Thanks dude.” It wasn’t a very formal way of speaking to a king, but when you lived in Ooo, where there was practically a kingdom around any corner, you tended not to really put on airs when talking to anybody.
