// LAST POST BRINGS UP A FANTASTIC POINT ABOUT A HEADCANON I GOT DEE’S CHARACTER ACTUALLY. He’s a ray of sunshine and loves to keep the happy vibes going. But he certainly ain’t a perfect dee. He knows he’s got flaws, but there’s one he doesn’t want to admit he has and will even deny it. Bandana Dee can sometimes be a sore loser. Not in the way where they’ll cry or argue over it in a hostile way. More of just a thing that they don’t want to admit that they’re defeated. That feeling that he could’ve done better in any way will always eat away at him, even if he gives every ounce of energy or effort into something. They’re way too stubborn for their own good. Out of the flaws Bandana Dee possess, this is one of the hardest for them to confront and improve on.

Harmless fun and Nightmare? Can those two really go together? B-but last year’s was alright! He was on the sidelines the whole time and nothing happened! Not to mention he jumped in that fancy Fantastical Getaway. Face-nap Dee once? Shame on Dee. Face-nap Dee a second time in the future? Shame on Dee again for not catching on. So it would absolutely make sense, right? There’s no way the bandana wearing dee should spend valuable time in this seminar participating, right?

Then why did he just make a trophy arrangement for the judges in front of him?

“I’ll...I’ll give the first round a try. That’s it.”

“WH-WHA? HUH?? That...uh....N-no! I can do better! I will do better! I’ll show you in the next round!”

Then, all you have to do is sit back and wait! If you’re selected, we’ll let you know.

If you’re chosen, we’ll have your role in the fantastical getaway already pre-determined for you. You could be a king, a princess, or even the hero! It’s all up to RNG. If this interests you, make sure to share the word with your friends! We can’t have you going on a quest by yourself, now can we?”

“Me? What about you? You look just as great!” Corrin offered his own compliment. “Very dapper… ahh, you’re just so adorable!”

Yes, a kimono probably wouldn’t have worked out well on such a round body… it would have covered up the majority of the poor fellow! Not that there was much to cover, but now that he thought about it, where was Dee’s mouth…? Hmm, most likely something he shouldn’t dwell too harshly on.

Either way, Corrin would gently place both hands against each side of the Waddle Dee’s body, and gently lifted them into both arms, securely holding them against their chest where they would be safe.

“Come on, let me show you were everything is!” Corrin gleefully rose to his feet once more, and with Dee in both arms, they would be totted right out into Ylisse’s bustling streets! Stalls chock-full of food, festivities, and lines of frolic and fun. Lights from the streets to the very stars in the sky showered Ylisse like snow.

“Well? What do you think, Dee?” A playful laugh shortly followed the emergence.

“Awww. Aw gee…” Dapper. Adorable. The dee felt like a warm, ball of fluff, blushing from Corrin’s compliments. They only wear those little sleeves and that blue bowtie on so many occasions! How many parties does Corrin have? Does he wear this often? Where can bandana dee get one? Wait, can they even fit in one?

Before the dee could even ask those questions, they were off the ground! And in Corrin’s embrace! Cozy. Very, very cozy actually. Bandana Dee just. Put his little nubs on Corrin’s arms, holding onto them.

But wow! Look at the sights of everything! Now this was a ball! So many people, so many places to go. The dee didn’t even know where to start! His little head was turning in all sorts of directions, looking at the breathtaking sights!

So, what did Bandana Dee think?

“WOOOOOOOOOW.” He was uh. He was literally speechless. The little thing couldn’t even put together full sentences.
