Finally posting the pics from the gorgeous exhibition "Vistiendo un jardín" ("Dressing a Garden") at Madrid's fashion museum (Museo del Traje) on floral textiles throughout the Baroque and Enlightement periods, with extant pieces from early 1700s to early 1800s. We visited this exhibition back in August 2024. The floral embroidery and brocades, and the garment construction in general, were stunning 🤩💜. And of course, I wore my most floral Summer dress for the visit 🌸🌷🏵️🌹🌻🌼. See part 2 for more details!
