Slowly but surely, getting things knocked out over here. Hoping to get a couple more replies or a few things this evening done. If not, this week onward I’ll be keeping much more regular appearances. After all, the best way to knock the rust off is to get moving right? 

No one has a stick of butter on them by chance, do they?

meta on Ron's fashion and how he chooses to dress/present himself

Ron...is keenly aware (much as he’d never admit it verbally) that at times he has very little control over what happens in his life. His condition just doesn’t allow for it. This isn’t something Ron takes kindly or easily to however - this intermittent loosening of the reins on his control over his life - and so he takes it back, takes tight control over things, wherever he can. 

One of those areas is how he dresses and presents himself. Ron’s tastes are expensive, rich and well tailored, and he takes exacting care in picking and choosing clothing and accessories that represent that fact; that show him off as being a man of good and expensive taste, and as one who can pull that look off well too. Whenever he’s out in public he’ll be immaculately groomed, pressed and coiffed and polished to perfection, and the same goes for the chaps in his immediate employ - a fact that, in part, earned him the nickname Colonel (for he’s as meticulous as one where the personal grooming of his underlings is concerned). 

How Ron’s doing of a given day can often be seen in how he’s dressed and groomed. If his typically tiptop standards start slipping, it’s a tell that he’s having a rougher time of things inside and might need a little eye kept on him to make sure he can navigate the stormy weather he’s experiencing.

     He’s used to it by now, Teddy liked to stare, weather it was at him, or Ron,        or a particularly nice lamp, Teddy seemed to space out while staring at        something he found aesthetically pleasing.  Or at least, with the way he        sat un-moving and unblinking, Armitage certainly hoped he was daydreaming.

    USUALLY HE WAS THE YOUNGEST.  It was rare for Q to interact with people younger than him.   So naturally he wanted to take this opportunity to give some of his best advice to Teddy Smith.       ‘  You know what really is the way to seduce a man? ’  he leaned closer to Teddy as though he was telling him a long kept secret.   ‘ – It’s  solving a rubrics cube. REALLY, I’ve personally never met a man who couldn’t stop focusing on the quick way fingers move while solving a puzzle. And as soon as they know how skilled you are with your fingers … ’  he nodded with a knowing look on his face, eyebrows raised.  ‘ Well then you’re in. Like us hackers like to say. ’  An embarrassing snort from laughter escaped his mouth.
