Mae Yamamoto - she/they

This 24 year old dreamer has a heart of gold and a spine of jelly. Born and raised in the big city to loving parents and many older siblings, Mae has found her way by exhibiting kindness in a cruel world. She’s a loving friend, even if she is a bit of a doormat. 

At 19 she moved halfway across the world to study history, spurred on by her love of knowledge and reading. She always seems to have her nose deep into a book, especially cheesy romance novels. As well as her historical studies, Mae is a talented linguist, speaking English, Spanish, Chinese, and a little bit of Spanish in addition to her native Japanese. 

Physically, Mae is short and scrawny. She has a curly lob hairstyle and full fringe that she dyes her favourite colour - pastel purple. She has acne scarring on her face and back. Her appearance is very feminine, it’s unlikely you’ll see her without a little makeup on, and she almost exclusively wears skirts and dresses, with the occasional exception of shorts in the summer. She loves to wear pastel colours and neutral tones, rarely wearing black.
