Finally got some colors for my spidersona, as well as a name for the suit and a non-suit design! Meet Opal Mae Octavius, otherwise known as Spidertron! She built the suit herself, inspired by Spiderman’s powers. There’s a Lot of details to this, so I’ll put them under a cut.

(Edit: I changed her name to Opal Mae Octavius. She still goes by Mae lmao)

The suit simulates a Lot of typical spider-powers - it enhances her strength, absorbs shock, and acts as armor so she doesn’t take as much injury.

There’s a bunch of different sensors all over her suit - visual, sonar, heat sensing, etc. These detect things before Omayra sees it herself and notifies her, simulating spider sense.

She’s got grip pads on the soles of her feet and the tips of her fingers. These pads can hold up to three times the weight of the suit, and over twice the weight of her inside it.

She uses grappling hooks instead of web fluid! The claw-style hooks have the same grip pads that her hands and feet have. If it hits a solid surface, the grip pads stick to it, and if it hits a ledge or a rod, the claws close around it. There’s also a shot of tranquilizer in each claw.

The screen around her eyes change their projection to imitate her emotions. It can also light up entirely and be used as a flashlight.

The glow from her screen-mask and the neon lights can be dimmed is she needs to be more stealthy.

The spider legs are usually retracted into a pack on her back. She uses them as a second source of mobility, especially if something happens to one of her grappling hooks.
