Wandering the city had been an adventure, and he’d found new and old friends alike. And when he saw an all too familiar face, he’d rush in and hug them, almost toppling them both over. He held the other in the hug for a few seconds before stepping back, beaming.
No matter that Leon looked younger than Jaime knew him as, Leon was still Leon, and the other’s kindness had always touched him. Perhaps in the city, Jaime could return the favor somehow.
“What brings you here, Leon? Did the Scientists bring you here recently? How have you been?” So many questions, Jaime was just so excited to have Leon here, of all people.
After all, because of Leon, Thavas was able to have comrades on the vanguard field.
Jaime would always be grateful for that.
