I'm only on Mag 70 when does jmart make out in my ears
MAG 70 “Book of the Dead” review:
JURGEN FUCKIN LEIT—ner???
Wait what? He’s not connected to this one? Hmm. Strangely enough that feels like it takes all the fun out of it. Anyways. This episode was truly horrific.
Horror can be scary, but true horror is gross. It’s sick, it leaves a dreadful, iron ball sinking within your stomach. The all too certain knowledge of the gore that is before you. That is horror. Knowing when you’ll die and how is already a horrid fate, but for it to change for the worse with every read? That’s extremely Kafkaesque, making it so that it can only ever get worse. I feel for Mr. Murray. Given the supernatural, when some of it has it out for you, the only way to save yourself is to use something also supernatural. So has he died a horrific death, or sacrificed something to live an unnatural life? We may never know.
Also real quick let’s go back to Sasha and her computer problems. The bit Sims says is specifically ‘authentication errors when attempting to connect with external devices or networks.’ Sims is too much of a dumbass to realize what this means but luckily I am a slightly more knowledgeable dumbass. Clearly Not!Sasha is trying to connect something that isn’t usually part of Sasha’s normal devices to the computer for some unknown reason. We know that there’s horror in the digital now thanks to MAG 65, but what use does some body double made from a weird table have for technology? I guess more-so why does one have use for a fake boyfriend but whatever. We won’t know until we know. Ugh.
I’ll give this episode an 8 gruesome endings out of 10 blank pages, would go missing as to make sure nobody else dies a horrific death again. Hey wait what if you had terminal cancer and you used the book while in the late stage, woudl it prolong your life for a gruesome death? Idk
Statement ends.
AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO SEE THAT????
LIKE??????
Web Development was about guy who can write a name of someone in some website that he coded and that person dies
Book If The Dead was about a book where was written a date when and how you gonna die in all details and every time you check that book your final moments is changing and date of your death becomes closer
Soooooooo.... I'M NOT GOING INSANE RIGHT????
TMA What We Know -[70]- Book of the Dead
pre-statement:
[none]
--STATEMENT--
-guy inherited a spooky book from a friend he didn't like
-book's language seems to be going from Latin to Old English to Middle English to Modern English
-it's full of accounts of gruesome deaths
-book cannot be burned (<-well that explains why Gerry didn't Handle this one)
the guy in this statement:
he's like it's fine if he killed himself, but it's way too distrubing if he wrote fanfic about it >:(
-every time he reads it it rewrites his death to be sooner and more gruesome
-thanks to My Excel Sheet My Beloved, I'm able to point out that the friend he stays with has the same surname as Helen Richardson's boss
post-statement:
-this guy's probably dead
-this book doesn't seem to be a Leitner
-Sasha's computer problems have been diagnosed!! it's authentication errors. notSasha has been failing a hundred capchas a day
SUPPLEMENTAL: -Jon's very into the concept of Evil Books -Jon thought that Leitner personally made his books and cursed them himself to turn them evil and spooky, but now he knows that sometimes books are Just Like That -Jon found a room in the tunnel with 3 wooden chairs and one of the Leitners Gertrude bought, burnt
I wonder what happens if you give the book of the dead for MAG 70 to someone else before you die. We know every death in it happens in order but also that your death changes and happens sooner when you reread the book.
I think there’s 2 things that could happen if you give someone the book while still living.
1. Their death replaces yours in the book and you get to live a normal life, or
2. Your death remains and theirs appears on the next page and the order can change if their death is before yours.
I like option 1 bc it seems like most the fear books can be used if you know how so this one is probably the same, and also I just think it’s more fun from a character perspective since the person who gives it away would have to deal with a bunch of guilt (and fear that giving it away didn’t work)
nothing beats the spitefulness of philip doah in the magnus archives. the guy owned a book that predicted an extremely violent and painful death for anyone who would read it, described in graphic detail with no chance to prevent it, and before his own death he decided to bequeath it to the one guy in the friend group he didn’t get along with. like?? what a completely disproportionate thing to do, but for some reason really funny to me
