Spoilers for The Magnus Archives, Season 3

I have finally finished season 3 of The Magnus Archives and holy it was amazing!! I loved Nikola as an antagonist, they were so fun to listen to. I quite liked how sudden Tim’s death was, I already knew before then that he was going to die but it shocked me still when it happened. I’m interested to see how season 4 plays out, I have some general knowledge of some of the events that happen in that season but besides from that I’m completely clueless.

Basira starting off as a hostage and becoming a fully fledged member of the gang and risking her life alongside everyone else is one hell of a journey.

Oh Martin ‘I need him to be ok’. Whatever stage Jon is at, aware of what Martin means to him or not, Martin knows. Martin knows he loves Jon and cannot go with him to the possible end of the world. And he’s aware that Jon could listen to these tapes - and yet still says at the end ‘Just don’t die, Jon’

Martin’s never hidden it, has he? He’s known all along and even though he probably thought it was hopeless he never stopped loving Jon. But I don’t think he has any idea Jon could love him back and Jon apparently has no idea what is going on inside his own heart.

Listening to this the first time, thinking ‘the ship is strong with this one’ - no idea of what would be coming up. I still play ‘I need him to be ok’ over and over to fully wallow in the angsty ship…

Martin afraid for everyone but himself is so MARTIN

Jon as usual battling over whether to release Gerry like he promised or use him - and the better part of Jon wins out. Because no matter how far Jon goes, his better part always wins on the end
